100%. It’s interesting when you think about it. For nfl owners, they look for a financial return on investment as well as wins. In college, the boosters just look for wins on their investment.

There’s an uncomfortable reality about recruiting out of the portal. You can only be so greedy. The majority of the best tackles in the country are not in the portal and are rostered.

Now I’m kind of curious, are we going to post the entire roster one by one on social media?

I care a little bit about Adams and Curne. I could not care less about Cohen, Paul and Chester leaving.

Well said. We can also overreact about this signing class when we need to remind ourselves that Lane Kiffin was hired 3 days ago! Recruiting bonds take at least a year. Our expectations for elite classes can’t realistically come until next year and on. For now, the goal is to simply do the best we can do and then throw US currency at the top players in the portal for opportunities to play here next year. That’s the business!
