Judging a strength coach is difficult. Whoever is the strength coach at Georgia will always seem better than the strength coach at Purdue. They aren’t training the same caliber of player. Sometimes we overestimate the strength coach and sometimes we underestimate.

I remember my buddy said when he played against Lloyd Cushenberry, they were able to push Lloyd around all night. Said he was horrible.

I feel like this whole thing is just a massive negotiation tactic by Baker’s representation to make sure Tulane is allocating as much as possible in resources. I’d be so shocked if he doesn’t still land at Tulane.

Thought the same thing last year. I got so caught up in signing day. Then we threw bags at Haulcey and Mansoor Delane and it all made sense.

Well said. We can also overreact about this signing class when we need to remind ourselves that Lane Kiffin was hired 3 days ago! Recruiting bonds take at least a year. Our expectations for elite classes can’t realistically come until next year and on. For now, the goal is to simply do the best we can do and then throw US currency at the top players in the portal for opportunities to play here next year. That’s the business!

These players have been recruited for years and have daily communication with some of the coaches that aren’t being retained. That’s all this is. Nothing new to the process of firing and hiring a new staff.

I believe these companies should just run ads and focus on higher traffic so I refuse to pay for the subscriptions anymore, but the product itself was good. Shea Dixon was great and interacts a ton with the subscribers.

The college schedule will force us to act quickly after the season, but people need to remember the current 2025 season is still being played. LSU is not behind the ball at all.

Kirby Smart, Dabo, and Ryan Day have won. No one else. If the 12 team playoff format would have been in place since Kiffin got to Ole miss, he would have had the opportunity to be in 2 of them, not including this year.
