LSU Controlled & Kicked Bama's arse in all Phases the Entire Game!
Same 2:30pm Kickoff this Year. But this time in Tiger Stadium!!!
Please Pray/Tell Me, or anyone that knows the reality of the circumstances, how Bama deals, contends & get out of Baton Rouge alive verses this Kiffin/Weiss/Baker lead LSU team ...... AND ..... 102k + LSU Fans who ARE THE most electric, energetic, loudest Fans in the History of Sports .... IN ....."The Cathedral of College Sports" & "Most Intimidating, Difficult Place to Compete on Planet Earth" = Tiger Stadium/Death Valley!?!
I'll sit back & listen as someone/anyone tries to explain how LSU does not Beat Bama BIG under the above, actual facts + circumstances!!

Certainly not. Special teams were a draw. Their punter dropped a snap leading to a turnover on downs, and they ran a punt back for a TD.
Their offense definitely got the best of our defense, mainly because their great WR, Devonta Smith, beat up on Stingly rather badly.
LSU was definitely the better team, because they won and had a much more consistent offensive performance, but it was not humiliation.
I agree with you that LSU is the likely winner this season. LSU looks like they have everything lining out, Bama does not, and LSU is at home.

As I recall in 2019, we needed a final first down run from CEH late in the 4th quarter to seal the game. We smoked them in the first half but they came back and it was tight all the way to the end.

AL QB was limping too. Lucky break but we almost blew a huge lead

It was so tight in the second half, Alabama never had the ball with an opportunity to take to lead.
That touchdown to even make the final score one possession was due to a dumb defensive call by Aranda.
Yeah, after the game when they lost.

One of the best stats for that 2019 team...at no point in the season did the opponent have the ball in the 4th quarter with a chance to tie or win the game.

They were going in for a TD on their first drive when Tua unexpectedly fumbled on a rollout scramble.

That game was an arse kicking for 1/2 of the game but let’s not get carried away. Alabama scored a TD nearly every possession they had in the second half and scored 3 TDs in the fourth quarter to lose by 5.

We watched different games that day

He got a high ankle sprain against Tennessee and had tightrope surgery two weeks before our game
No one was beating us that year so I’m not saying a healthy Tua would’ve, but the dude was legitimately injured and frankly it was a medical miracle he even played

For a little context LSU is 10 wins 28 loses and 2 ties in Baton Rouge vs Alabama.
LSU is 17 wins 28 loses and 2 ties when playing Bama in Alabama.
That 2019 win was in Alabama.
Since Saban in 2000 LSU is 5 wins 8 losses in Baton Rouge and 6 wins 7 loses in Alabama.
LSU vs Bama in Baton Rouge is not a good thing over the years.

Last time LSU lost a 2:30pm home game they were humiliated by Mike Leach and the Bulldogs.

No humiliation but Bama NEVER had the ball with a chance to take the lead in that game. If they scored we answered.

Fantasyland. LSU sneaked out of Tuscaloosa that day with a win.

And Tua dropped a ball on an early drive that was a totally unforced fumble.
I actually thought their defense whipped our O-line a number of times and had defenders in position to make plays behind the line a number of times only to have CEH or Burrow dodge tackles and make people miss and make spectacular plays and several of them to keep drives alive, I'd say as many as 6 or 7 such plays.
And they were kicking an onside kick at the end that if they would have recovered would have given them a chance to score and win and seeing as they scored 41 points - they may well have. Total yards for the game were virtually even.
So yes, great win on the road in Bama - loved it, enjoyed it, celebrated it. But humiliated????

You are right that CEH and Burrow dodged several defenders in the backfield, but that was due to Bama sending numbers against our line. The LSU offensive line absolutely dominated Bama, giving Burrow lots of time and Clyde lots of running room.
Bama had to blitz because our line was kicking their asses. This is where Saban used to do his best coaching, getting a defender a free shot at a QB or RB.
There were several corner blitzes that the line could not possibly handle, being already engaged. That’s on the QB to recognize and get us into contingency plays. I don’t know if that happened, or if we lost those chess matches and just beat them physically, but the results were mostly first downs and touchdowns. One exception was the early second half sack, fumble and turnover that tightened the game.

OP probably got drunk and celebrated at halftime. Hasn't checked the box score in 7 years.

Was there. Vividly remember going into the 4th quarter. They had Dixieland Delight with the light show and all the momentum going into the 4th. It felt like “here we go again”. Most LSU teams would’ve lost but that 2019 team was just so damn good.

I will meet you halfway there. Some of those plays were due to all out blitzes, certainly not all of them.
