And this season marks the 40th Anniversary of his last year at Nebraska. See any difference between then and now?
Dumbass.

Nice stat gramps, but he didn't play against guys that weigh 340 pounds while running 40s in the 4s

So since CBK has started signing players, we have continually heard about the refreshing fact that he was not signing "fat" O Linemen, and that it is better to have guys who are athletes and put on some weight through the weight room.

Now you are asking for the fat guys?

He looked good, sounded tough and appeared to dominate at times. What went wrong?

This is what went wrong. His “toughness” and work ethic were all based on some self-released videos of him in a carport bench pressing. When people want to believe something it’s easy to give them what they consider compelling evidence.

Campbell, Emory, Frazier, Shorts, Bordelon and West... may end up being one of the best OL hauls in LSU history.

Plus the group in the 23’ class.

From what my memory serves, LSU will have never have had bookends like Campbell & Heard on the line at the same time

Very good news because it seems like there was talk when he committed that he was just a roster filler, because we did a shitty job recruiting O-line. It's very good to hear that Coach Kelly thinks he will be a good contributor to the O-line

If we have, it’s been a while. I’m not sure LSU has ever recruited OL this well. Even with all the great individual OL’s that have come through here. BK will get a lot of credit, but Brad Davis is a great recruiter.

So, we're just going to completely ignore his horrible ankle injury?

Some of the better centers in the NFL weigh less than 300. You need quickness and a more cerebral player rather than a guy that's over 300 lbs.
Name one.

I’ve never seen a lineman pushed on his backside as much as him.. it was literally every other play and not just against top end SEC teams.

If we're being honest same could be said for the whole Oline the last 2 years. None of the Qb's ever really had a pocket to throw from.

Charles Turner would be a nightmare at C, that can't ever happen. He can't even get a good snap back to the QB in the shotgun.
Pray for Martinez, Dellinger, or Bradford (maybe) at C. You might even see Emory Jones take snaps at C.

Bordelon is at least a good depth piece at LT for now, possibly bigger role in

If Bordelon is good enough to take snaps at LT this fall, we absolutely got the best player out of that program. Sorry Arch.

As a bonus, his little brother is a rising sophomore (already 6'4 260) at Newman and already has offers from LSU, Bama, and Georgia. It goes to show that maintaining familial connections can really pay off down the road (see the Jeffersons).

Wasn’t their mama in the White House video?

True, but it really helps to be close to 300. Not 280 and also of course not 6 ft 6, 345
