For a backup QB? We need DL, not backup QBs. The dumbest thing they could do with NIL funds is waste them on a backup QB.

He would be expected to compete for the starting job. I do agree there are other places that we need to spend though depending on how big his asking price is.

Why hasn’t he? I have not seen a feel for the game in Nuss. He has shown no aptitude to make the right decisions. He throws it into double coverage often. How many times have you seen Daniels throw a ball into double coverage? This year?

Will Howard is solid, but Nuss has a higher ceiling. I’d rather roll with Nuss
My read is that Howard is transferring because there’s a good chance he’s getting beaten out next year by the talented freshman Johnson

Where does all the QB talk with an addition from the portal and signing Underwood leave Hurley? I’ve really been excited about him and looking forward to seeing him take the reins. I’d be surprised if he stuck with us if Underwood commits. It would nice to have them both, but that seems like a pipe dream.
