If they want to continue the dual-threat model, this would be a great option to bring in for 2024.

Looking at the stats, the running numbers are solid. Passing is just so-so. He was ok this season, but had 10 INTs and only 61% accuracy. But he does have 3 full years of experience and steadily improved.
He would be great to have as competition for Nuss and as a potential experienced backup. Also, the fact that he’s on his last year of eligibility is a good thing. He would be out of the way when Underwood signs and wouldn’t create any issues or roadblocks there. Thinking about how things line up there is the price of chasing and landing a Top 3 QB in a class.
We may be able to do better, but he looks like a good option.

Kind of weird for him considering Texas and Oklahoma leaving the big 12 and with Klieman being a solid coach they could probably be the favorites to win the conference.

His leading receivers are an TE & a 5’7” WR. They just don’t have passing weapons like lsu does

Id be happy bringing him in to compete for backup role. A friend of mine is a big KSU guy so we watch a ton of his games. Not really that impressive of a QB but a decent QB who can hurt you with his legs.

He's not leaving without any guarantee to start along with NIL. Every season there will be guys seek out NIL deals.
