Magee didn’t have much wiggle. I saw CEH make Devin White miss in the hole during the spring game.

He will make a few defenders look crazy this year.

I think he'll be great, both as a running back and a receiver out of the backfield. And...wait til he handles kickoff returns.

Why only as half of a white running back?

Fournette was better and so would have been Collins. Guice would have had better numbers if he wasn't there with Fournette, he might have been better as well. You do realize Faulk lost his job to Collins?

Terrance Magee type player imo

This. But apparently folks think he's a breakout guy. Don't get me wrong, he'll get his yards if he ends up the features back, but I'm not expecting an elite season.

Maybe 800 yards 4.2 ypc

I don't see Magee at all. We must be seeing different things. Magee was nothing more than a solid backup. I think CEH can be pretty special. I guess we'll see in a couple of months.

If you're right, and CEH is actually closer to Magee, then I reserve the right to retroactively freak out about the running back position.

I have been telling people he is our next in line after Fournette and Guice. He is going to be good.

I think his ceiling is above Stevan Ridley, but below Jeremy Hill.

Great character and has great vision in space. Struggles between the tackles and is a bit injury prone.

Not an every down back, but will make plays for LSU.

CEH will be a good SEC back. Can do it all and much stronger than people realize.

He will benefit from Curry coming in and splitting the load hopefully.

Jesus some of ya'll are retarded and way way underestimate how good Faulk was.

Mark ingram good?

What in the frick has Clyde done to show he has the potential to be an ALL American top3 back in college football and all time at LSU? WTF has he done to show he could be a heisman winner?

Darren Sproles was prolly the best player in CFB that year and ran a 4.3 in college. how in gods name does Clyde compare to him?

some of you need to put down the kool aid, jesus christ.

Every player on LSU's team isn't even 2nd team ALL SEC much less ALL American. Its laughable.

To answer the question OP, he might be able to turn into a Ridley by his senior year. He is a spencer ware after the weight gain right now imo. servicable. Before the weight gain, Ware was a stud just like he is in the NFL.

Not as good as Guice but I can see him putting up Jeremy Hill type numbers. Hard to compare him to any previous runner being 5'8" (roster height) and 207 lbs.

I can't remember the last time we had a running back with that build.

Clyde in space is as good as you’ll see and he’s a tougher runner than people give him credit for. Not worried about the RB position if he stays healthy. Like what I saw from Provens also, may be a sleeper

I think his floor is Terrance Magee which is not an insult as I think Magee was a good ball player.

That's a good comparison, but I actually think he can be a bit better than Magee. Seems to have a little more wiggle and those tree trunks he has for legs along with that low center of gravity will hopefully give him power when needed.

I fully admit that being a fellow Catholic alum could be clouding my judgement.
