We'll begin to find out whether Johnson can fix this abomination.

No matter who he signs we’re going to proclaim them as the best and will likely be preseason top 5 again on reputation.

We won’t know shite until SEC play starts next March.

That's why I said begin. You're correct. That will be put up or shut up time.

No we won’t. We wont know that until much later. I think he will fix it for what it’s worth, but we won’t find that out in June.

Well it's either a SEC tournament tournaround, or bust. There apparently is no NIT type consolation opportunity for these Tigers this time

He is coaching for his job next season. He won’t survive another 10-20 type SEC season.

That won't matter if he's "in his office every day" making terrible decisions.

I've said this repeatedly, but I'm told he gets 3-5 years to get back to the postseason. His problem is that Scott Woodward is gone. Verge won't give him that many chances.

I really don’t think I am. Baseball has become huge at LSU, 2-14th or worse finishes in the SEC and the pressure on the admin really ramps up. Lots of frustrated top 100 TAF and suite holders will bring enormous pressure to make a change vs letting this completely unravel.

What you are seeing this year hasn’t been seen at LSU since pre Skip. It cannot continue.

If we aren’t in the postseason next year this place and the Box will be toxic.

No one has said he can miss the postseason for 3 straight seasons. Stop being such a pussy.

I certainly expect Jay will get things fixed for next season, but no LSU baseball coach would survive 2 consecutive seasons of not making the NCAA tournament. If by chance he survived 2 consecutive based on goodwill from the national titles, he Certainly wouldn’t survive 3 consecutive seasons of not making the tournament.

Now if you’re saying 3-5 year leash to get back to a deep run in Omaha, that’s possible depending on how the seasons play out

You're not delusional. A lot of these people think a national championship earns you a lifetime gig. That's not how this works. Two years in a row won't be tolerated.

Several here said the two NCs buys him three years to rebuild. Not going to happen.

If he repeats this again next year, he’s long gone. Too much money coming through here to suck
