You and I both know that. The pumpers can’t let their heads go to a place that a repeat of this season is possible. Those consequences are just too much to bear given what they’ve watched this season.

It’s much easier to blame the NCAA portal schedule disadvantage vs the possibility JJ isn’t the best coach in college baseball. I’ve already said the elite ones don’t have down years that look like this. I’m concerned, but willing to give him a shot at the fix.

Several here said the two NCs buys him three years to rebuild. Not going to happen.

No matter who he signs we’re going to proclaim them as the best and will likely be preseason top 5 again on reputation.

This… I will feel better if we go get some all conference guys and not some dudes that hit .270 with 6 hr until the postseason. Or a 1B that wasn’t even 2nd team in the WAC. If Dardar was the floor we would have been alright but he’s been the best transfer and can’t play defense.

The pumpers believe every LSU coach is elite.

Just spitballing here;

The Giants are in the cellar, I don't think the Vitello experiment will last long.
If Jay doesn't get things straightened out and Tony V is on the market, do we pull the trigger?
Yes, Jay won 2 titles to Vitello's 1, but we're also talking LSU vs Tennessee baseball. V didn't miss the tournament randomly, at a much worse place

In a heartbeat. Vitello’s team play with an edge and toughness regardless of talent level and I don’t recall many in game stupid decisions from him that we see JJ do repeatedly.

So this is officially where the retards are. Pining for a coach with fewer skins on the wall who’s going to flame out of his current job.

God damn you people are ridiculous.

Saban was flaming out as well with the Dolphins, the pro game is completely different.

Vitello has a SEC title to go with the natty and a much better SEC record than JJ. The skins gap is not as much as you think especially with the talent edge JJ enjoyed.

If Vitello comes back, it will become more obvious next several years who the better coach is.

Don’t be delusional

The two seasons he's been successful, he had some of the most pro-ready players in program history, the other three without them he's been mediocre to bad.

I hope Johnson leaves. The retards in this fanbase don’t deserve a program with multiple titles in 5 years.

At least you can feel safe bashing the team and knowing they won’t come back and win a championship, like they did last year after you bashed them.

I don't know when it will happen, but I don't think Johnson will retire at LSU.

How do you think Jay would be doing in the same job?

Agree with that, I don’t claim to know when but ultimately he’ll get fired.

We talking about the coach who brought Arizona to the CWS twice with a championship series appearance?

I legit hope he leaves. You don’t deserve a good program.
