Seemed like that SOB would run down any shot to the OF.

Him decking the first baseman in Omaha was great.

He skipped a grade (after holding back) so his age wouldn’t work against him in the draft. He may like LSU but his lean is definitely going pro.

I stopped following his progress a couple years ago b/c he had dead cinch lock draft written all over him

But Covid, draft changes, and the success of true FR in the SEC this season, along w the NIL possibilities, actually have me intrigued in regards to his decision

What do you consider a dead cinch lock?

Would think he’d be more likely to try college since his brother has bombed as a pro

Y’all really think they are going to dump loads of money on every damn athlete huh lol

Literally, specifically defined the situation I’m talking about…a mid-late round pick that they want to come back. How many is that in a given year? One? Maybe two. Not even close to “every damn athlete.”

You don’t think they’d pay a kid $80K… $100K to stay on the baseball team for his senior year to make a run if he’s needed? Shite, it might be 1 every few years. Idk where you get “every …athlete.”

Gavin Dugas is pretty much the common LSU athlete. He isnt going to yield a return even close to $100k for advertising a product.

Baseball players specifically will not have much of a reach at all with this, actually. Outside of the guys with high pro level potential

It’s actually more about social media influence/followers at this point. Neither have very many, so likely won’t bring a ton of $.

Sure, but that usually reflects popularity, which usually coincides with talent level.

Guys like Jaden Hill & Crews have 2x as many Instagram followers as say, Gavin Dugas & his 6800.

So he has gone up a level every year and they didn’t have a season last year due to Covid.

He’s not, but he’s also getting 4-5 at bats a week. Hard to get in a rhythm if you’re not playing routinely. Like I said in a previous post. He could have 1-2 years left at LSU and he’s in AA. I think people don’t realize the journey through the minors for most.

He was traded by the Angels for what became Ohtani. He went to the Twins that were loaded at outfield. Now he’s in AA with the Braves.

You know how to make bricks, you bake some mud to harden it?
Well shite bricks are just shite, baked to harden.
shite brick houses are simply where they make shite bricks.
