Josh Heupel was 1200 golf balls lighter when Lane Kiffin was coach of Tennessee.

It matters.

Tennessee's enrolling freshman class of students was in diapers when he left Knoxville.

That's not the reason. Lane went to Knoxville airport to stop Leavitt from going on a visit to UT... That's the reason.

I can’t see our fanbase clutching their pearls if an LSU head coach (like O) said something like this. We would probably laugh and call the other fans pussies

The league started a precedent fining LSU $250k for throwing those light up bands on the field so the league should quadruple it and penalize the hillbillies for each spec of trash they were told by their HC to throw come November

I understand the drive to throw some red meat to your fanbase, but this is at best poor taste and at worst reckless.

And yes...he's mad because Kiffin shoved him in a locker with Leavitt.

The fat boy is going to have Lane put 70 up on him.

They better throw their mustard and golf balls early because we are going to dick stomp them so bad that erecter set stadium will be empty by the end.

yes

A head coach saying in a press conference that he hopes fans bring projectiles to throw at the coach and players of the opposing team. will absolutely be used as a cause for the behavior that inevitably results in someone being hurt. Are you dumb?

No, a clear tongue in cheek comment months before a game will not impart liability on anyone for anything.

Tennessee will be liable for people throwing things on the field regardless of anything anyone has ever said.
