I would like to see his stats against the two teams that had a heartbeat.
3 straight drives for TDs against Fla State to end the game; 10 plays 82 yds. 15 plays 75 yds. 11 plays 99 yds in a minute 20 seconds, throws a TD with his team down 7 on the last play.

For the game, 25-34, 209 yds, 2 TDs 0 int, 16 runs for 114 yds.

Miss State, down 13-0, drives 75 yds in 7 plays to score late in the first half.
7 second half possessions, 4 scores (3 TDs, and a FG), and then ran the clock out for the last possession.
3 straight 2nd half TD drives to go from 16-10 down, to up 31-16.
3 plays, 9 yds, runs for score. 14 plays, 85 yds. 4 plays, 59 yds. Then 5 plays, 21 yds, victory formation.

For the game, 22-37, 210, 1 TD and 0 int passing. 16 carries, 93 yds, 1 TD.

Over 300 yds offense, and 2 scores from him in each game. And he's been money in both, in the 4th quarter he's led the team to a TD every drive, except when he knelt to end it.

I'm actually surprised by those stats. For some reason he hasn't looked that good to me...can't argue with stats, though.

I am curious as to what better defenses you expect to see. Does TENN and Florida look like exceptional defenses to you? Arkansas? Ole Miss? (Tulsa scored 27 on them). Does Auburn, next week's opponent look like an exceptional defense. My view, all of the above are average to below average defenses.

Bama yes. But ok, they are Bama under Nick Saban. Aggies look like a very good defense.

Daniels is getting better coaching than he did at ASU and has more playmakers to work with here at LSU than he had at ASU (he only had good ones his Freshman year at ASU). No offense to Herm Edwards at ASU but he was run, play action old school type offense. No sure how much development Daniels got under Coach Herm, who I like, but Herm's offenses looked like a slightly better version than Les Miles offenses.

And lots not forget because of the COVID-19 policies in the PAC12, the development of players in that league in my view was really impacted by the lock out from training and weight room facilities from like March 2020 till what amounts to late September 2020 and then the PAC12 had minimal games that year.

Give this guy a Pulitzer & bless the soul of the poster to whom this was in reply.

Actually a lot of people do hate on Rohan. I still agree with you & don’t jump to conclusions. Depends on the context of what exactly is said + always lots of mindless parroting on boards.

Only 6 tds after 4 games is not very good

Miss state’s qb had 6 tds in one game…..

The same people pumping Daniels’ stats are the same ones that touted Myles’ stats over his 3 starts like they actually meant something substantial. Daniels was bad against FSU until they went into prevent defense with soft coverage, and he was bad throwing the ball against State. He’s a great runner but against real competition he’s not a good passer of the football. I feel like any reasonable person who watched the games would agree

Did you notice that Nuss had no qb hurries….in the New Mexico game?
He was never once sacked or had to throw it last minute
When he throws, the ball reaches his wr quickly and that’s why the wrs have so many yac yards….

Fla State

After seeing what I saw Saturday, they might not be far from contending in the ACC again. All of the media was ready to anoint Miami before the season started, but FSU looks much better than Miami from what I've seen of both this season.Clemson isn't what they were. I'm not completely sold on NC State or Wake yet this season either.

You may not be part of that group, but they absolutely exist.

This has existed for every single QB who doesn’t perform well in the recent history of LSU football so why should anyone else be treated differently? I don’t understand why anyone needs to have an agenda for being the typical LSU fan when it comes to QB play. They did the same thing for Johnson last year when he played a decent game.

The fact is that he didn’t play very well against Florida State, he improved a little against Southern but was still missing wide open WRs down field and he gets happy feet. He had all kinds of time against New Mexico but would still get happy feet instead of just moving in the to creat open lanes and a clear site to throw to open guys or guys coming open. They need to practice with him on finding guys coming open downfield. Set up these scenarios downfield in practices. Idk but there has to be something they can do to improve his ability passing down field.

Can you point to where anyone is actually saying this?

I have an agenda… keeping his arse healthy all year because I don’t trust Nuss. So before you start calling people racists, consider that he’s taking unnecessary shots rather than passing to wide open receivers

There were a ton of threads started in the first half of the MSU game begging to bench him, calling him trash/saying he sucks, you name it

I think you have to separate, and discard, those in-game negative reactions from people who just can't control themselves. Many of those people would probably be ashamed to read, the next day, some of the things they posted during the game.

I look at it a bit differently - I think you have to discard the opinions of posters who are so emotionally immature that they say shite like this during a game:

Again I don’t think these people are the majority. But they don’t get a pass just because they said it in the heat of the moment. Especially not when many of them will just be AWOL until the next time we struggle offensively, only to pop up and say “I told you so!” while spouting the same shite.

Every QB we have had has been "hated on" by some. If Nuss had gotten the job, he would be criticized just as much.
