Bruh. There's a reason why we nuke the Score Board after the weekend. Taking screen shots of that nonsense should be bannable.

He’s playing well overall but he has issues going through his reads. He will be fine against Auburn, but may struggle against the better SEC teams. He’s still the best option, obviously. I’m just afraid he’s going to get hurt when he takes off.

Then RA me, I guess..

I don’t feel bad about calling out these idiots though. If taking a screenshot of a guy saying our QB is “pathetic” and “couldn’t read a Dr. Suess novel” should be bannable, what does that say about posting it in the first place?

A lot of us have been spoiled by Burrow unfortunately. If he plays like last week then we will be fine going forward. Gone are the days of Les Miles QBs thankfully.

Dumb.

Daniels inability to see open WRs downfield will hurt immensely against good teams. He’s played well enough so far against mediocre at best teams.

If he doesn’t start hitting WRs downfield there will be a ton of 3 and outs against the likes of Bama, Arky, Ole Miss, and aTm.

I’m a fan of him, he’s came in a played pretty well. I’d like to see him open up a bit more in the passing game.

He definitely needs to get better at reading through progressions. Other than that yeah he's not as bad as some people claim.

Still our leading rusher. Will probably stay that way since we have 2 or 3 backs splitting carries

Lol at people who think that’s a bad thing.

I don't think so. You can probably find a couple, but not a lot.

Never hated on as a QB, but they come out when his AFR guest spots are referenced. Personally I think the dude is hilarious.

My criticism of JD doesn’t stem from the stats he does have, rather it is rooted in the stats he should have but doesn’t.

I believe it is a reasonable expectation of any qb at this level to be able to see reads and make some of the throws that just don’t even seem to register for him.

Like it or not. That is a fair criticism.

I’m trying to see how any of you have allegedly watched ole miss this year think they have a good defense?

Did y’all not see them almost lose to Tulsa Saturday? Jaxon Dart is probably worse than Daniels honestly

The same people pumping Daniels’ stats are the same ones that touted Myles’ stats over his 3 starts like they actually meant something substantial
No, I'm actually doing the opposite.

I'm not fixating on his yardage, I'm looking at what he does with the offense, and when. That's why I keep repeating-
he finished the Fla State game with 3 straight TD drives, including a touchdown pass on the final play, when the team was down 7.

The team ABSOLUTELY needed those drives to stay in the game, he delivered. We got the ball back with 1:20 on the clock, on our own 1, down a score. Dumb playcall by Fla State to even give us a chance, but like they say, "pin us deep". Can't get any deeper than the 1. What did Daniels do? He answered our prayers- he drove the team the length of the field, and threw that TD pass. Routine XP, and that game is in OT.

Against Miss State, yeah, we didn't run up and down the field on them early. People seem to forget that is a team with a bunch of starters back, I don't think it's a 4-8 team.
Defense held us in the game, which is exactly what we needed. Daniels pushed the late first half drive to keep us in shouting distance, 13-7. Second half, we moved better, and then in the late 3rd and the 4th quarter, we went from down 6, to up 15 on back-to-back-to-back drives.

quote:

Daniels was bad against FSU until they went into prevent defense with soft coverage
Then FSU is completely idiotic, because they must have done so early in the game. We only punted twice the whole game, and scored TDs on the last 3 possessions. We ran for 139 yds as a team... Daniels had 114 of them. So, that's NO impact at all from the RBs.
If Daniels was as bad throwing as you claim, Fla State should have stayed in regular defense, and blown our asses off the field.
