re: Nick Dias says he’s done making excuses for Daniels

I never understand on any fan website when people quote really obscure people no one ever heard of as if we all should know about their opinion. Just baffling what goes on in the minds of these people.
Nick has a YouTube channel where he gives his opinions on LSU football
Nick Dias says he’s done making excuses for Daniels
Posted by KeithN on 10/3/22 at 9:50 pm
Credit to Nick for admitting he was wrong - he said that he saw Daniels make a few nice passes against Southern and completely jumped the gun on his evaluation of him. He also added that the people who are pumping Daniels’ completion % like it’s a good thing are pretty much autistic.
It’s unreal to think that when Daniels transferred here from ASU, his family came out in an interview and said that the plan was for Jayden to play 1 year at LSU and then head to the NFL - it’s absurd to even think about that at this point.

This sounded better in your head

Gavin’s veteran leadership will be paramount this season, hopefully he returns to form and has another ‘21 type year. Geaux tigers

Wow that’s really neat! If you’re happy with where we’re at now then let’s continue doing exactly what we’re doing and not change a thing!

Nuss will take over by the Ole Miss game

They are trying to make JD into something he is not
It’s not Denbrock’s fault that the offense isn’t putting up numbers - he’s putting our receivers in position to make plays, the ball just isn’t getting to them
re: If Daniels can’t run, is he still the best option

No

This would actually make the most sense. The politely fall out of prosecution, a likely impulsive crime, etc. I could see them slow walking this but they have to announce it sooner or later
This would make sense

Does anyone have an update on this or know more about what she might’ve been talking about? I feel like she wouldn’t just make this up out of thin air
re: Jayden Daniels stats for year

The same people pumping Daniels’ stats are the same ones that touted Myles’ stats over his 3 starts like they actually meant something substantial. Daniels was bad against FSU until they went into prevent defense with soft coverage, and he was bad throwing the ball against State. He’s a great runner but against real competition he’s not a good passer of the football. I feel like any reasonable person who watched the games would agree

My biggest concern is receivers hitting the portal because it will become apparent they cannot showcase their talents with Daniels at QB. But whatever, Daniels won't be the first QB I disliked and rantards loved. Still rooting for him, just don't think he is the best option in the big picture.
I agree with this. Does Boutte sit out yesterday if we have a qb who is better at passing the football? I think this is a fair question

Nonsense
What part of it was nonsense?
Does the passing game even matter? Daniels was clocked running 22mph

Or 2018 Joe Burrow
The difference is that 2018 was a first year starter every qb’s most improvement comes between year 1 and year 2 as a starter. This is Daniel’s 4th year as a starter and he has over 40 games under his belt. I’m rooting for him and he’s tough as nails, but expecting him to drastically improve as the season goes along just isn’t realistic
re: On a lighter note: Leah Vann Played with Fire Today

Leah gets too much unwarranted hate on here - this is her first year covering the program and learning the ins and outs and I think more people should cut her some slack

I have a feeling that he will be getting touches returning kickoffs but probably not anymore punts
