Good for him. If you really think about it, this is Daniels standing up to an evil corporation. Or a popular band standing up against their record label.
Once money became involved, it’s no longer about students and colleges. It’s purely employer/employee, and plenty of employees in real life after leaving are “F that place”, especially since most of the coworkers/managers JD5 was around are gone too.
Lot of bandwagon laundry fans in this thread tho lol…simply cheering laundry.

F him and his momma. When you do something that people almost unanimously consider dumb and don't back down, you deserve what you get. His legacy at LSU is shite now. Sad because he had one of the best QB seasons of all time and was golden in LSU fans eyes. Jayden's ego is not his amigo.

Oh for Pete's sake kid, just own it and apologize. Move on. This doesn't have to be the end of the relationship with LSU. I've seen some dumb stuff but this is one of the worst self owns I've seen. Unreal.

The young fella didn't spend enough time in Louisiana to understand that we never forget. We'll forgive damn near anything but we will never forget.
I think part of my problem is that I'm thinking about this situation like it was back in the day when loyalty and school pride, little things like that still mattered. It's going to take time to adjust to the reality of the mercenary nature of this new sport.

It’s a JOB now. He gets paid to play. He now has another job for another employer. Why should he have any loyalty or school pride for a job?
JD5 basically saying LSU is a shithole operation with shithole administration, is no different than if a Professor did the same thing. He’s a disgruntled former employee. Guess what. He ain’t the only one out there.

No one’s “letting” him do anything. He’s being a bitch. I still wish him the best and hope he matures. I don’t go from being a fan of someone to hating them, calling them a “punk thug” and wishing them nothing but failure. That’s not because I’m “afraid of conflict,” it’s because I got more important shite to worry about.

Forget Jayden. Why would you not want the vast majoriy of LSU athletes to succeed in the pros? There are some great guys in a long list of LSU athletes playing pro ball. What is your logic?
