This board will melt over anything

"Jacoby isn't getting the ball enough!!!!!"

Stevens moved to position that gets the ball the most in this offense

"WTF is this staff doing?!?!?"

Wait are people upset at this?

This is good news. Giving our stud athletes the ball more. This is what everyone wanted from Les' teams.

Hopefully Jacoby breaks one this weekend.

It's purely about creating mismatches. Get him one on one with a LB and he wins every time.

We've seen this before when O was at Ole Miss.

Robert Lane one of the top QB in the country out of Neville. He played QB they moved him to Full Back and played him at TE. Now he works in Monroe and some mornings walks with his parents in front of my House.

Putting athletes in position to touch the ball where there is s mismatch is now a bad thing?

Is a 5 star DB THAT bad at being a defensive back? God knows we could use him on this defense. If there's anything we don't need, it's another ball carrier. I thought we were fine there. Is JS just that gifted of a blocker? Maybe they should put him at guard.

ETA: I mean, if they want to put him there to get him the ball in creative ways, OK. But I was always under the impression that Canada's system didn't have a full back. I guess we'll have to see.

So why not get a do it all stud freshman there whom was a 5 star athlete a

At this point I would take a 3* composite safety that is worth $65MM. Meaning, play his arse where he adds value no matter what. Punt returns, kick off returns, etc. if he can't handle it yet, sit his arse.

F Back is not a full back.
Here's an article about the F Back position

What's the big fuss with the handling of Stevens? From what I read he was more of an athlete that seemed to project more to a Safety. He was an exceptional offensive skill player as well.

It appears LSU is set up really well at S. Yeah LSU has a lot of guys in the Fback/Hback role but that doesn't mean that the are as talented as Stevens would be in that role.

I see nothing wrong with LSU trying to figure out where his skill set fits best.

I'm a Republican. I'm not a cherio. Yes Democrats and the O bashers are very similar. Bitch and cry daily. There are some normal fans that don't like O, and have made that known, bur don't jump in every thread bashing O 24/7.

He's a frickin freshman and they're trying to get him on the field. That's promising. I'd take that treatment everyday as a 1st year guy.

Says the guy RA'ing people like a little bitch.

It must suck to be a little peon in Baton Rouge who is forced to do the public relations bidding of no-name media celebrity who has attached himself to a football coach.

Sounds interesting. I hope he can block because we need it.

Multiple posts on what to call the position, none of them mention "FB" or "full back".
