The only thing near accurate is that the Republicans won't do a damned thing about anything---- but will let some Josh Hawley go off on the truth. ect ect Like Gowdy in the past.

Yup. I found a clearer image of the actual "proof" that Schmitt briefly showed. Seeing the deliberation that must have gone into preparing that prop, this is an epic fail.
Literally, the only logical thing I could see arguably tying this to Atlanta is the reference to "down (relative to DC) here." That is a SUPER stretch.
Any chance that Schmitt apologizes?

Not if the witness knows you're lying. Plus, why save this to the end if that were the goal.
I used to have dummy reports at depositions that made it appear to the witness that I might have more information on them than they thought I did. I only used that at the very beginning of the deposition...and of course, I never disclosed to the witness the actual report...I would just read from it.

FWIW, without an explanation from Schmitt, I consider him as dishonest and dishonorable as Liz Cheney. That makes me sad.

That's the weird thing. It didn't have anything to do with name confusion. There's nothing in the texts that refers to "Atlanta" or the "Hawks" or "Hawkeyes."
It was just bad cross-examination 101. Schmitt didn't know the answer to his question.
