What was weird is how fast Amy Klobuchar figured out that Jack Smith was at the Iowa Hawkeye game. She spoke out of turn to debunk it as soon as Schmitt was done questioning Jack. She said that her basketball knowledge led her to make the connection. It was like she knew the question was going to be asked by Schmitt.

I saw one of the Congress critters say, we are divided as a country. I agree with this, but tit for tat. Isn't defending Jack Smith carte blanche a info silo you could be in?
Is the Senate judiciary whatever committee lying that said they have evidence Jack Smith spied on Americans way outside of his authority?

Granted, the Atlanta thing looks like a fumble, but Schmitt shined throughout the other 6 minutes. In particular, the discussion re the public integrity office around the 3 minute mark left a mark.

No, partisan brain rot boomer, it’s not defending Jack Smith carte blanche. It’s defending the truth. That you conflate the two is again a symptom of the disease we have as a country.

I don’t know. This is now the second or third time he’s testified. They may have something new. But after this shite show about basketball games, do you really trust them to have it?

I wasn't talking about the Atlanta allegation. I was talking about possible perjury regarding Smith's adherence to rulings by DOJ's Public Integrity Office in filing an expanded indictment so close to an election.

We're not too far apart. For instsnce, the Atlanta fumble skated around a real issue: collusion between the White House and the Fulton County prosecutors.
Fanni's lover billed Fulton County a full 8 hours for his meeting with "White House counsel." Yet, he couldn't remember ANY details under oath. Now that the Good Guys have the White House records, the veracity of that bill could be checked in about 15 minutes.

As an admirer of Schmitt, I unfortunately agree with you. THAT'S what will be remembered about the day...unless Schmitt explains himself credibly and promptly.
