re: Jack Pyburn commits to LSU. That is 1 of 3. Keep your eyes on these two later today.

Crazy though, the only way your agent has leverage is if you’re willing to leave the school you’re currently at. frick that noise. My son’s agent won’t have that card. That’s a bullshite way to be in college, I don’t care what anyone says. The college you love and play for may look elsewhere to replace you, but until then you gotta ride with place you sign a 4 year scholarship agreement with

Also, he's a kicker. Don't hate that he doesn't have the same leverage as a pass rusher to make money. If you could play this game you would.

I hope to hell we are getting that C along with another one. If Chester suits up at C for this team again, we are in big trouble.
He has proven without a shadow of a doubt that he is no C.

My point was you only have leverage if you’re willing to leave…and once you play that card you pretty much have to leave.

Where are the damn safeties?

That dude with "inside information" called this last week.
I can't find that thread now but he hinted at Pyburn saying LSU was landing an edge rusher in the portal who had family SEC Ties(his dad played at Auburn). A few of us guessed it was Pyburn.
Yay!

If your kicker kid ever has leverage then he would be a damn fool not to use it.

Suck it up Sunshine. Gilbert and a well paid Sage Ryan bout to bring it back in 2025

The false rumors of demands at UF Poor Sunbelt Billy
I don't necessarily think all the rumors of players in CFB making demands are wrong. They probably don't want to stay at the school they're at and are saying "this is the insane offer it would take to get me to stay at this point".

He's great at setting the edge. It's worth it.

$540,000 for aproven DE in the SEC is a bargain these days and some are saying that those demands were fake news floated by FL poster and not from inside football organization.

I'm sure Arkansas is glad you have such high morals...

Probably are. Y’all got the #1 kicker in the country who is a top punter and can kickoff in the SEC day 1, and he’s graduating now…so enrolling this spring.

With all the consternation over Brian Kelly this season (it was deserved), you have to say that he called his shots and is taking them in a huge way.
A lot of coaches fall into an air of comfort/stubbornness/ego and refuse to address issues, but he and his staff are hitting the ground running and taking names.
For a lot of these transfer portal kids, I tend to (or want to) believe that position coaches or development is top of mind. Yes, I'm also aware that there are a number whom are mainly looking for money.
This is where hiring such renowned assistant coaches, however, pays huge dividends (much more so than for HS recruiting, IMO).
