No. Its not the fans job to find a replacement for a substandard coach (whether or not Kelly is up to or above the standard is subjective--but if a fan makes the case the Kelly is not up to standard, thats the fans prerogative.)

This idea that he can't criticized because he's "better than CEO" is quite lame. But it really does depend on what standard you hold LSU to. If its better than CEO, then Kelly4Life. If its doing what other coaches have done in less time, Kelly might not be seen as the guy.

Who is the guy? I don't know. Its not my job to know. But it is my right to criticize if I see fit.

Couldn’t stand him at ND, tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but most of our intuitions were correct - NOT WORTH THE CONTRACT

BK doesn’t trust Nuss and that’s not on Nuss that’s on BK because he’s stuck in his ways of wanting a running QB. Nuss will never reach his full potential because BK will never fully trust him to play his game and be the QB he should be.

Nuss has started TWO games in his career, why dont you slow down a little chief

bruh, a good LSU defense with that great but sort of one dimensional LSU offense was not beating Michigan last year

Here’s the truth: Kelly has a lot that he needs to prove but this team is in a better place than it was 3 years ago.

I agree with this.

But I would point out:
- We are likely to return only 3 or 4 starters on O in '25. That's a rebuild. I expect us to be marginally better on D roster wise. IOW, relative talent wise, we won't be much better in '25 than we were in '22.
- With the portal, a HC can overcome recruiting/roster deficiencies at a faster pace than before.
- Kelly is not afforded a learning curve as would a younger HC. He was ostensibly given the long-term contract to get him to leave ND. He is not allowed rookie mistakes (like we saw on D last year).
- It is time NOW, that CBK show that he can can take equal talent or slightly deficient talent and overcome that with his HC experience.

We lost to a team with 8 seconds left that could turn out to be a legit playoff contender.

The guy has an SEC West title and a Heisman winner. Maybe relax a second

Irrelevant, he made poor decisions and his team is totally undisciplined.

Jee. Zus! This is just TOO easy.

Based on the results on the field Sunday, Lincoln Riley would be a better option.

But the idiot didn't do that. He chose the worst person possible

Are we having revisionist history with House?

I don't remember anyone calling for his firing after his first season and even kind of remember posters being worried he would be hired away from LSU.

From Pro Football Focus before the 2023 season, House was ranked as the 6th best Defensive Coordinator in the country:

6. Matt House, LSU Tigers
House was a semifinalist for the Broyles Award this past season, his first as LSU’s defensive coordinator.

While the Tigers’ defense wasn’t necessarily among the best in the country in 2022, it was their drastic improvement that earned House that honor. LSU went from 74th in the FBS in EPA allowed per play in 2021 to 36th this past season. Before joining the Kansas City Chiefs as their linebackers coach, House also coordinated a Kentucky defense in 2018 that was 17th in the Power Five in EPA allowed per play.

I never understood why people say BK is one of the best. Why, because he won 100+ games and a couple Nattys at Grand Valley St. Or is it because he had a couple good years at Cincinnati? Most ND fans are happy to see him go, and he didn't win any games there that anyone else couldn't have won. He got mostly slaughtered in big games (Bama/Clemson) Freeman has already proved to be better. So what am I missing?

Well what a 100 million dollar mistake. I can't really find anything to hang my hat on with this guy. He's really starting to look like a snake oil salesman.

LSU would’ve destroyed Michigan with a top 30 defense last year.

No one could stop LSU.
