Brian Kelly looks like the smartest man in the world right now. It's pitiful, but LSU will be back, sooner more than later.
Right now, people are hungry for information and when they don't get it they start lashing out at anyone and everyone.
In less than a month, I think things will settle down.
BTW, didn't one of the "insiders" say there would be an announcement today on a Head Coach?

I think this is being miss construed. I believe he removed intern tag to make him AD now.
I do believe they will hold a search at some point.

Decision to remove interim tag was made by BoS that have no business making athletic decisions because they don’t know what they’re doing. Leveraged votes to get Rousse to agree to removal. Verge leaked removal to media.
Rousse didn’t trust him BEFORE and now definitely doesn’t...his time is limited.

I voted for his dumb arse during the final election. Although I did not vote for him the primary and he does not need to be reelected again. No matter what he does to LSU. The guy is a buffoon and I admit I voted for him the second go around. Sorry I did. Hopefully 2 and 1/2 years can come fast and we can get his arse out of office

Verge helped get rid of Woodward, played his cards too prematurely, banking on his family's political cronyism hoping everyone would forget the Title 9 disaster which he played a prominent role. Louisiana is so fricked up in as much that a guy that should have been fired can possibly believe that people would forget that and he would be Athletic Director.

This confusion is 100% on Rousse. But no you have to have a clue to be able to “set up” Verge.
