He played against vastly superior competition than the consensus #1 QB in this recruiting cycle, and looked better doing it. As other posters have said, if he was closer to 6-2 than 5-9, he'd not just be a 5 Star, he'd be the highest rated QB in the country.

Pretty sure Herb Tyler was listed at 6' 0" I'd take Herb in Kiffin's offense.

Out of respect for Jayden Daniels they didn't list him as 5' 12"

LSU is his dream school. Lane Kiffin is his dream coach. I'm normally not shocked at any flips nowadays, but it would absolutely shock me if he did. I feel like he's as firm a commitment as you can get.

It wasn't funny because it doesn't make sense. Why would they list him as 5'-12"? At least you tried though. I admire your effort. You just need better material. There's a whole thread with funny memes about the Jayden Daniels situation that you should read.

I am not sure how much that it matters, but on the Fox interview, "Pop" confirmed he had a 4.00 GPA. Intelligence to pick up things quickly could be an asset.

I agree his sub 6 foot frame is hurting him.

Kyler and Johnny football sub 6’ QB heisman winners. Baker not far off right at 6’

If he can ball, it won’t be an issue! Under CLK and his offensive schemes he has everything in his favor to be great!

Bryce Young is a shrimp.

Houston will have nearly the same HS stats (better rushing) and didn't play any as a HS freshman.

I hope the great Amp Hill doesn't have a problem with Pop wearing that number.

He is a legit smart kid with a really quality father that has helped him to where he is today.
Sounds like he has always wanted to be a Tiger.

I want a 105 of those guys on the team.

I don’t get excited about QBs coming to LSU out of high school anymore. We’ve had more success with QBs out of the transfer portal. Even Matt Mauck was an ex baseball player. The only decent QB from the state that had success at LSU was Jordan Jefferson and he shared a good bit of snaps with Jarret Lee. If you ask me I don’t’ think the kid takes one meaningful snap from under center. Thats just me though.. I hope I’m wrong.
