This is spot on! All you idiots give Davis NO credit for the 4 OL that were drafted last year. Davis was mentored by one of the best in Sam Pittman.

BK was vocal about wanting to sign and develop OL lighter, quicker hence the decent pass- blocking. But they weren't big/strong enough to handle SEC DTs. BKs system was pure dog shot.

It's amazing to me that y'all wanna blame Davis AND get rid of all our OL, no matter how talented they are, he Weston Davis. Bunch of freaking idiots on this site!

Yet somehow Weston Davis is not one of them….make it make sense

Because he's a 5* with 5* size and athletic traits. Maybe, just maybe, the new staff sees a lot to work with and want to keep him. Maybe Davis loves LSU.

You freaking idiots want to blame BK (rightfully), Brad Davis AND all of our OL for being busts. Are both possible? Yes, but not likely. These kids have talent unless every freaking coach and recruiting site were wrong about them coming out of HS.

Best case would have been to keep all but 2 or 3 of the 2025 OL and bring in 3-4 portal studs. As it stands, do we even have enough OL left to field a starting 5. If that's what you wanted, you're a f- ing moron.

Let's ask Carius Curne.
Morris spurned Arky for Okie. Okie is a better job, is in a winnable conference and has more money than the pigs. Arky is a coaching graveyard!

Morris was smart to go build his resume, then get a much better SEC gig than piggyland in a few years.

Apparently, the guy who paid his NIL money doesn't want to pay it again this year. Could just be a rumor, but where there's smoke there's fire.

He signed a contract, gets the $$ unless he leaves. He ain't leaving.

Sounds like Sherrone had two jobs!
How do you know he wasn't a finalist for those jobs? Maybe Weiss said "no thanks". Maybe he's on the Kirby Smart plan. See Baker, Blake.
He won me over........eventually. He's golden compared to Moscona. He's passionate and die-hard LSU. I'd put him just below Hunt in the pecking order.

It's laughable that anyone thinks he's leaving UM and millions on the table. What's different this year from last year?

The optics for Kiffin and LSU are pure gold! Kiffin is the bigger man by allowing the coaches to go back to OM to finish the season.

Going to 20 teams dilutes the season too much

Applying a 20-team playoffs this year would get ALL 2 loss P4 teams in:
ND, BYU, Vandy, Utah, plus Tulane (top ranked G6 team). All deserving!

It would also get UT, USC, AZ, Mich and UVA in, all P4 teams with 3 losses. That would make for some compelling 1st round play-in games:
UT v Tulane
Vandy v UVA
Utah v Mich
USC v AZ

That could lead to these round of 16 games:
UT v TT
Vandy v UGA
MICH v OSU rematch
USC v IU

What's not to love! This would still require teams to have no more than 2 losses to guarantee a spot in the playoffs. Regular season dilution would be minimal.
Practice up, get better. Play in a warm dome, stay injury free. Get done a week before the portal opens. Rock-n-Roll!!

Great! We get two blowouts, two rematches nobody wants to see and a crappy Bama team that doesn't deserve to be there. Vandy would beat Bama and OU!

There is no way anyone ever dreamed that a P4 conference champ would not be ranked. Get rid of the conference champ tie-ins completely. Get rid of conference championship games.

Expand to 20 teams, with the bottom 8 seeds playing for a spot in the 16-team bracket.

Let Vegas decide the seeding. I don't think anyone could argue with those results.
Bama looked like shite today and they were gifted their only score due to UGA penalties. ALL games matter!

WR Ryan Williams at LSU next year.

Kid paints his nails and carries a stuffed animal on gameday walks to the stadium. No!
How about a wildcard.......Tavien St. Claire, 6'4" 230 Fr. Ohio St

Sayin is a RS Fr, could be there 2 more years.
Everybody's a candidate given the putrid state of the offense currently.

RB - Durham. 1K season coming
WR - TaRon Francis
TE - Green. They better target him 150x
OL - Solomon Thomas
