Is Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco in the mix at LSU? Here’s what the Rebels’ AD has to say

Carter was asked if there was any update he could give on the situation during a stop on the Rebels Road Trip at the Mississippi Aquarium in downtown Gulfport.
“There’s a lot of information out there. I just texted with Mike today,” Carter said. “We’re going to meet in the morning, so that’s what I know. I know he was in Oxford today.”
Carter said the Wednesday morning meeting with Bianco is nothing beyond the usual gathering with a coach once a season comes to a close.
“It’s just a season wrap-up,” he said. “We’ll talk about the season, talk about the future and all those things.
“We’ll see where it goes.”
When asked if Bianco had informed him that he had interviewed with LSU, Carter said, “No.”

Sounds like a meeting where Bianco tells him he’s leaving. The rest is just a veil until the news is ready for release

Thats what im thinking too. Tomorrow will be the judge. If we hear nothing by tomorrow night, we are in the clear. But it sounds like we hear that bianco is taking the job by the afternoon

That’s just terrible if so. How did this program become so accepting of mediocrity? You can literally choose any coach you want within reason…and you pick Bianco?

Correct me if I’m wrong but wouldn’t LSU need permission to speak to Bianco? Or at the least the AD would know if his coach was being interviewed by another school. Someone is full of shite.

The longer this goes on, I feel like Bianco gets smaller in the rear view mirror. I don't think they would announce during the CWS.
