I've been saying that all day.
Stink may get a short term victory, but in the end, he will cost the SEC billions of dollars and millions from dumb as$ Presidents from other schools.

The SEC ain't going to do shite but make a big show. Sankey may be a little bitch (acts like a woman) and had his feelings hurt...he may be even stupid with all this emotion he has going...but his lawyers KNOW that LSU is in a position of power, and this won't end well for the SEC. I don't know how it is going to end well for them anyway with the players filing suits (ones they aren't allowing to play after court order).

The SEC might think they can still have the games, but it won't count as a conference game.
And, LSU wouldn't be allowed in the playoffs - but I think the players and LSU could sue the committee for that - if they are not a bubble team.

The CFP isn’t part of the SEC. If they leave LSU out, that opens up so much more litigation.

Nil was a godsend for LSU I don't know how people don't still see that Alabama cannot keep up that's part of what this is all about.

The comparison is important, because obviously Sankey is personally threatened if he does not get rid of LSU. In that scenario, he is essentially a dead man walking. So this entire equation for the SEC now becomes one of LSU or Sankey.

You’re probably right, none of the people running the SEC, who all happen to be lawyers, considered that some players might try to sue….

I know a lot of dumb cocky lawyers who either would advise the opposite, or who will do whatever the client wants because it means more billables

Idk I'm seeing on X that it's basically an at will thing for the SEC. They don't need a rule violation and if they vote us out we don't have much recourse.
Rule 3.8.5 or some shite like that.
I've been in the bankrupt the SEC with lawsuits all day but after seeing that I'm kind of deflated.
