She seemed to intimate in an interview with AFRLSU today that the SEC may not have calculated the blowback from LSU players themselves. Each of them made significant financial decisions to come to LSU and play in the SEC.
If LSU is expelled and the expulsion is immediate, a class action lawsuit could be brought on the SEC and its member institutions from the players.

If this isn’t amicably resolved (and we may be past that point) the litigation is going to be off the charts.

The players are depending on the scheduled games for income due to the NIL contracts. I don't see how the SEC can back out of scheduled games without being liable for damages.

The SEC will probably file a complaint that LSU is coordinating and encouraging that too.

You might almost think if those suits would start being filed now, with a claim of impacting their current NIL value, the SEC might rethink its current position.

Yes, the litigation will be off the charts. And it will be in Louisiana courtrooms. And the SEC, as well as the member institutions, will foot the bill. There will be no winner. Cooler heads will hopefully prevail.. If they do not, the SEC will regret this move for a long time.

Boy I'd love to see each team captain step forward with a statement that they intend to file suit against the SEC and any member institution that would vote for ouster.
