Yeah, I think what you are saying also makes sense. I know they’ll have to do something abnormal for 2020, and hopefully revert back in 2021.

That said, I’m not sure what you mean by screwing people out of upgrades. Why offer an upgrade to a seat that a week later isn’t going to be used this year? Are you saying do the upgrades now, but they truly only go into effect next year? If so then yes, just get it done independently.

Fact is - probably several ways to do it. All are contingent upon the capacity restrictions placed upon us.

Yeah, upgrade as normal, then do a 1 off for this covid mess. Then upgrade as normal for 2021.

I think it's going to be a mess either way. Hopefully they can get it figured out sooner than later.

Let's just hope we actually have a football season this year!!!

Where do those people go?

As one of those seats that have been displaced, you don't go anywhere. It's nicer than saying your shite out of luck even if we do have crowds this year

Covid 19 is a complete fraud. The testing is fake nothing but false positives. The people who died died of something else they just put it in the covid category. However the lockdown (which is really the green new deal in disguise) is permanent... there will not be a football season

I’m amused that anybody thinks the Ruling Class will allow people to enjoy something as traditional as football during a Cultural Revolution. Even if they allow us a game or two they’ll shut it down eventually.

That's right. When there's civil war and depression in five months football is gonna be pretty far from anyone's mind we're gonna be worried about what we're eating for the week and how are we gonna stay safe from the violence

Gonna be tough to have a season.... I see many disruptions and a cluster at best.

Will that also be the case if a player from either team gets the flu, a virus, or any other contagious illness? What about a sprained ankle?

No, it will not be the same. His point is far from ridiculous, even though it might not be the case. Under current rules, if a player gets a positive test, they would do contact tracing, and quarantine every member of the team and staff unless they got a negative test result AFTER the player in question was quarantined.

The team could try to finesse the system by doing quick result tests early in the week, quarantining anyone with a positive, use the same batch of tests to declare all the negatives as COVID free, then don’t test again until the next week. I doubt the NCAA or the governors let them get away with that, though.

They might be forced to test on Monday and if anyone tests positive, quarantine them and retest on Friday. If anyone tests positive on Friday the game is off.

I was referring to payments related to upgrades, but in either scenario - why create more opportunities to have to take in money and send back money amidst a lack of clarity?

Instead, come to a decision and then act based on that decision. Otherwise you are just jerking everyone around.

Hopefully this email they are supposedly sending out will shed some light on the possible scenarios they are considering.

Then if you decrease capacity, how do you determine who gets in?

You start by asking people to opt out. Many will do so willingly.

I 100% agree. First step is asking people to voluntarily back out.

Edwards said today that we lost all of the gains we made in June and getting worse. The lesson of this summer will be that If people would have been more willing to take precautionary measures there would have been a much greater chance that there could have fans in the stands at TS. The “I’ll never wear a mask group” are making sure TS will be empty.
