Don’t know if we should read too much into it or not, but I did not get an email and have not yet been charged for my July 1 season tickets payment.

Mine just went through.

Nobody should've ever complied with any of these ridiculous restrictions now they're never going to end that's the lesson. Yes there won't be football but it has nothing to do with coronavirus it's because we're under the control of New World order

The lesson of this summer will be that If people would have been more willing to take precautionary measures there would have been a much greater chance that there could have fans in the stands at TS. The “I’ll never wear a mask group” are making sure TS will be empty.

Masks do not prevent the spread of the virus, they only prolong it. They may slow it down, but they do not prevent it. An increase in spreading will occur whenever people start socializing again. Masks or no masks, and whether that renewed socialization occurs today or in 2050.

The minute the goalposts were moved to a vaccine it was very clear that there will be no CFB season this year.

Who really expects the ticket office to know what the answers are right now?

The final answer? No, no one does.

But Woodward and his senior staff would include Associate AD/Ticket Sales and Operations Brian Broussard.

Everyone acting like a vaccine is gonna make everything better aren’t completely thinking it through. Think about how many folks are gonna exercise their right to refuse to get it. If you think the mask madness is bad, get ready for another level of insanity if society requires you to get the vaccine to participate in everyday activities in life.

Also, not sure what the nba starting has anything to do with football happening. They will have every single team jammed in a Disney resort playing in front of no one. Completely different from football teams with 10 times the people traveling all over the country to play each other and then head back home.

With these decisions being pushed back later & later it seems very unlikely that they will be issuing printed tickets. Digital tickets were already forced upon us for the 2 games in Atlanta last year... :(

At some point the costs have to outweigh the benefits. Nothing, not even stadiums and arenas can run at less than full capacity forever.

Yep .It's like the military. Some have to give all where the rest can do as they please. Pretty good idea unless you're one of the ones to be sacrificed.

Just got the email:

quote:

We hope you and your family are safe in these unprecedented times. As we continue to plan for the 2020 football season, we would like to update you on the football season ticket request list and relocation process. This past season we had a 97.5% renewal rate and a tremendous surge of new ticket purchases for unsold season seats from the 2019 season.
As we continue to plan for our fall football season, we consider time as an asset in that planning. Accordingly, we have made the decision to postpone the seat selection process until early August as we continue to gather information. We will be in touch at that time with further information on this process.
We will continue to plan for our non-renewable parking pass selection process for the 2020 season and further communication will occur in the upcoming weeks.
We thank you for your patience as we work through these new situations together. Thank you for your support of LSU Athletics.
Geaux Tigers!

Unfortunately, I think you are right...I think you are right. I think electronic tikets will be the norm going forward.

Unfortunately the only thing that was explained in the email is that no decision has been made and none will be made until August. Hurry up and wait.

Of course, the ticket office is going to take July payments. They will make interest on your money, until they are forced to give it back.

In that case, they’ll make money on me till next season. If the season is cancelled, they can keep my money for the 2021 season. If I get it back, it’ll be spent before next year!

You can select e-tickets, you don’t need to wait for anyone to do this for you.

all these convoluted complicated unlikely scenarios for fall when it is obvious that the season will be moved to Spring likely with vaccines, full stadiums, bands, tailgating ,etc. The Ivy League has already "crunched the numbers" and is making plans for football in April though i think we start as early as Feb.
