At this point I would welcome it.

It is clear that Sankey has a personal vendetta against LSU and Lane.

And it is clear that there is a clear double standard and selective enforcement of rules by the SEC.

So as much I have loved being a member, it is clear we will not be treated fairly by the Conference so we should move on.

LSU is a money making brand, so when all is said and done the SEC will regret this

Other then the money we might lose(and who knows it may not end up being that much) I would be ecstatic, this conference has been screwing us over for yrs

Not at anywhere near the level it’s currently at. And not for very long. Some of y’all are just not thinking this through at all. Our operating budget would skyrocket for all the travel we’d be doing. In all sports. Our tv/media revenue would plummet. Our home game revenue would plummet because we’d be replacing , Bama, Texas, OU, Ole Miss, Georgia, etc…with Bowling Green, Western Kentucky, and Miami of Ohio. Any P4 teams still willing to play us would only do home and homes, so good luck scheduling 8 home games where 6 aren’t atrocious. Our donations would dry up significantly. As would recruiting. You like having the best coaches who come here to compete at the highest level? That’d be over. And on and on and on. LSU’s brand—as strong as it is—could not exist even remotely in the same stratosphere as it does currently. People would throw some money at it for a couple of years to try to hang on, but that wouldn’t be sustainable. It would be the end of LSU athletics, and Louisiana State University as we know it. Anybody even entertaining this is not a serious person.

Tulane left the SEC and look at their home schedule. Horrible teams to go see in person. No wonder they get 10000 per game. Who the hell wants to see Memphis and south alabama and Houston and east Carolina ?

LSU with Lane Kiffin would be must-see TV every week. Long term it probably hurts, but tight now, LSU football is the biggest name in the sport.

If ND can make it as an independent, LSU can do better. There is no other school in the country that has fan support more than us.

Fan support is what has made LSU sports self sustaining.
