I'm sick of this opt out culture...

LSU seems to get hit the worst when the season is mediocre. See end of Ogre's tenure as well. Nuss opted out his freshman year for crying out loud.
All you pussies who opt out instead of getting another chance to play major college football and put on that jersey....

Many of these kids think they are going to the NFL. Only a handful will get there and have any sort of a career. The rest of them are living in a dream world or getting bad advice

In the sense that they are not playing or did not play for their team until the bitter end absolutely. Younger generation knows how to quit that’s for sure, but they want their money. Imo

It was bad enough with those that didn’t want to get hurt before the draft. Now you have those in the portal and looking for a payday that don’t want to get hurt either.

It’s an exhibition game played a month after the season. If the fans view a season that ends without being in the playoffs as failure, why would expect the players to care? With the coaching change the roster will be completely different anyway

All but about 3 bowl games have never mattered. Especially this one. Players gotta protect their earnings future. Nobody else is looking out for them.
