Waiting all year to go to a game then have to wait multiple games for the Texas game to arrive. Choose Clemson game 100%

Its college gameday
1st game of season
First game after a long yr
That defense will be a juggernaut
LK as head coach
New LSU team why wait
Crowd will be electric
NECK will play 28 times

100% due to how hot the Clemson game will be - Texas. Otherwise opening game would be the draw for me.....you never know what the mood will be in November, but everyone is fired up for the opener.

Clemson is the easy choice. First game of the LK era. Pressure is on with a formidable coach and team. First night game at TS, the crowd will be crazy and loud. Not even close, Clemson.

We’ll get Texas at home again. Will be a very long time if ever to see Clemson at home.

Texas. It’s going to be much better weather at night.

Kinda gotta be tight this year bc I’m taking my little boy on a cruise and then my older boys to Scotland for a super expensive golf trip bc he banged out a 32 on his ACT and I told him if he scored a 28 or higher I’d take him anywhere in the world he wanted to go. So I’m on the hook for some expensive traveling and gotta pay for all that.

For me it's Texas but if you're treating your stepson I'd take him to the game he wants.

I'd argue Clemson. There's more hype being that it's Kiffin's first game + it's week 1 and College Gameday will be there. It's guaranteed to be an incredible atmosphere.

Texas week depends entirely on the teams' records. It could be a massive one or it could be meh. Also, remember Bama is 1 week before and that's always an exhausting experience. I've been to many home games in my life, the week following a HUGE home game is always lacking a little energy, regardless if it was a win or a loss. The fans are exhausted.

Clemson week 1 will be a movie. Campus will be electric. Everything about it will be crazy. Here’s to good weather and no hurricanes

Clemson will get all of the hype and ticket prices will reflect it. It will be miserably hot.

So Texas. Weather will be perfect. We'll either be contention and it will be nuts.....or we won't be in contention and tickets will be cheap. Definitely Texas.

Texas so we can laugh at all their fans and their band being stuck in the upper decks like they did to us.

Tough choice

I think people are underselling the Clemson games. Both are exciting for different reasons.

Clemson is the opening of a new era while at the same time, I think Clemson is super desperate and might play better than anyone thinks. Especially with LSU breaking an entirely new team in chemistry wise.

Texas has way bigger stakes on LSU's season and then you have Arch which many people in Louisiana do not like at the college level due to their family history.

I'd probably jump on Texas due to the stakes but both are exciting in their own way.

You are going to be upset when you see 2,000 band members and Texas fans in the lower bowl…

Texass should be the better game, but tickets will cost 3x as much.
I had to pay football prices for baseball tickets when LSU came to Texas.

Clemson is going to be at night and the first game of the Lane Kiffin era. It’s gonna be wild.
