Clemson will be hot even at night plus a hot tailgating day
It is the first game though with Gameday in tow
Texas is later in year so hard to know how meaningful that game will be
Weather should be much better for that one though
Plus it is Arch, and Texas finally comes to Tiger Stadium since COVID wiped out the return game

The risk of the Tejas game is either team not living up to their preseason hype and the game not being very high steaks. The Clemson will be high steaks no matter what. With that said, I am currently getting a group together to go to the Tejas game because one of my best friends is a longhorn fan.

Break the Bank!
Go to Clemson, if all works out for both teams return for Texas,

Yeah but there’s the gamble that things go south for us or then and the matchup ends up being a dud when the time comes. I doubt it but you never know.

Hard to argue this point, and that would definitely be in consideration. I just personally prefer games with bigger star power and higher rankings.

The opener is a no brainer imo.
Finally some juice back in the stadium. Start of a new era.

Clemson game barely even matters

I want to bury Clemson 2007 Virginia Tech style

100%. The only thing that could derail that Texas matchup though is like everyone said, what happens if one team or both teams aren’t living up to their potential. Does that matchup have the same luster if both teams are two loss teams at that point? The opener is guaranteed to be a hell of an atmosphere barring a monsoon. The TX game has a few more variables.

Really good slate of home games this year

If you are looking for the best football game, I say Texas. If you are looking for a sure bet at getting the FULL LSU Experience, then I say Clemson.

Clemson. Great campus, great atmosphere, and the fans are a lot easier to stomach than Texas fans.

Texas. Been waiting a long time for this game in BR.
