It's really all about the person. Some people just don't get into baseball.

Very true. One of the universe's funny little jokes on me is that I love LSU so much, and I could barely care less about baseball, so baseball just happens to be LSU's strongest forte. But I love LSU way more than I dislike baseball, so could watch LSU baseball all year. The great part is, my love of LSU baseball builds genuine interest in college baseball as a sport. But once they get out of college, it gets nigh unwatchable, and that's pretty much always been the case (at least since '79).

Unfortunately, the various shenanigans of the other major pro sports have made them nearly as unwatchable for me, but that's really a different topic. The bottom line is, I love LSU sports, and I also love football. I used to love basketball, but that sport is basically unrecognizable even at the college level now. So for me it's really more like:

Whatever season it is: 75%
The rest: 25%

Unless it's football season, where it's more lik 90/10.

It’s like a 70/30 football/baseball. Don’t really care about anything else

FUN facts about the Texas schools in the SEC:

A&M only has a Men's Gymnastics club team

Just pointing out how much I like watching each particular program. I know the math doesn’t work.

I get it. Can’t go over 100%.

Would a bar graph or pie chart be better?

Agreed.

College basketball is just so boring.

Its nothing like college baseball or football.

Honestly, when was the last time you were ‘excited’ to watch an LSU basketball game? Maybe the Ben Simmons season? It was really hard to get excited even then.

(Edit) This is about Men’s basketball

I put football high because I am a fan of football in general. I loved playing the sport, now I love watching it. Tried coaching, but parents and low expectations placed on player behavior drove me away from that very quickly; I just do not have the temperament to tolerate divas and their handlers.

Football—45%
Baseball—45%
Basketball—10% (would be much more if we actually had a winning program outside of 2004 season during my adult sports lifetime).

ETA: “Something like this and it moves more towards baseball every year as I get older” This in a big way. Especially recruiting. I was a recruiting junkie from 16-30 and now I really just lightly peruse. This baseball season and having Jay at the helm only furthered that.
