First two calls would be Hoiberg (if fired from Bulls) and Mike Brey.

Archie Miller and Richard Pitino.

Both are probably reaches, but certainly worth a call.

I like Archie Miller. I don't think it's a stretch to pull a coach from Dayton, but eventually, he's going to wind up at NC State.

If I were the AD, what to do first?

I would dig up John Wooden's corpse and make it tell me no.

Might as well call John Wooden too, because we have as much chance of getting him as the others.

You call Ray Harper! 431 - 137 in 17 years of coaching! 4 National Titles, 5 National Runners Up Finishes, 5 National Coach of the year Honors, 10 Conference Championships.

no because you are the AD. You have to serve the entire athletic community.

You are very busy. You don't make pissing in the wind calls.

Do you comprehend that Stevens is on the cusp of turning Boston around. They have extra draft choices, including Los Angeles for this year, which may be a high lottery pick.

Call Monty Williams...no joke. The guy can coach and with his NBA experience and connections , he could probably keep some of these kids from making a mistake and listening to the whores from the NBA /agents and leaving school too early.

He would be a quality hire....and he's available

My fist two calls would be to Tony Bennett at UVA and/or Archie Miller.
