Etling is simply not getting it done in the passing game. He continually bails from the pocket too early and rarely looks to pass downfield after that. It's run or 5 yard pass down the field. Tough to watch. We definitely need much better QB play to compete better and give our Tigers chance for victory!

right because there is so much evidence that O can get a program into the playoffs.
Uhm did he say playoffs? As I didn't see it.

in 6 games as a head coach he had...
worst loss a ranked lsu team had at the hands of an unranked opponent
worst loss in lsu msu history
first loss to a mid major since 2000.
1st home ooc loss in 49 games
Why? Obviously, because of three reasons. The players he inherited from his predecessor, i.e., your idol and the object of your worship, aren't close to being as good as the players we lost last year. In fact, against Florida, at one time we had three true freshmen playing on the offensive line and one redshirt freshman. Why, because they zoomed ahead of the backups your Idol and object of your worship had recruited.
Not to mention, that we also had three other offensive lineman transfer since spring because they weren't good enough and never mind the fact that your Idol recruited them.
On defense the players playing this season overall are nowhere close to being as good as the players we lost to the NFL last year, and needless to say, with the exception of the freshman who passed up previous backups, those players once again were recruited by your object of male worship.
Furthermore, our best defensive player from last year is a mere shell of the player he was last year. However, it's not coach O's fault he decided to take half the year off, have late shoulder surgery, and then put on weight.
Finally, how is it coach O's fault that the team had our best defensive players on the bench hurt in both of those losses?
quote:
yes it is as bad as it seems
It is exactly because your Idol and object of your gay love was such a miserably piss poor coach. Which is why no one will touch that pathetic loser with a ten-foot pole. Indeed, athletic directors will continue to avoid that poor excuse for a coach like the plague.
quote:
think of the crazy shite thats happened since being named Head Coach.
lsu's program cant survive 3 years of the way its been going
Everything bad that has happened since the start of the season is a direct result of coach O's predecessor, your Idol and the object of your affection. Indeed, coach O hasn't even been the head coach at LSU for a full year yet. He didn't recruit all those offensive lineman that either transferred because they weren't good enough or the other backups that the true freshmen zoomed ahead of on the depth chart, and with the exception of the true freshmen playing on defense, coach O didn't recruit any of those players. Hence, it's not coach O's fault that overall the new defensive players playing this season aren't nearly as good as the players we lost to the NFL last year. Dave Aranda didn't suddenly forget how to coach. That's your Idol and object of your gay love's fault. Sorry, I'm not a delusional retard and I'm also not gay like you!
Anyway, coach O is going to continue to coach here for a long time and there isn't a damn thing you or anybody else can do about it. Indeed, he's not about to leave, this is his dream job. He's going to be the head coach at LSU for years to come. Just like you will be a gay crybaby for a long time. Coach O will be the head coach for a long time.

However to say that we're set up for good things with O as coach is asinine
To blame the fact that the players playing this season overall are not nearly as good the players that played last season on coach O and his excellent coaching staff who haven't been at LSU for a full yet is retarded. Thus, only retards like you and your ilk could be dumb enough to do something that stupid. Blame it on the person responsible, coach O's predecessor. He's the one that recruited those players.

Nah. O screwed up last year too. And I blame him for not being an effective head coach. I've got a lot of evidence to support my view. What do you have to support yours?

Wow. You're truly retarded.
Really? Teuhema and Brown weren't good enough?

That being said if you are looking ahead at all next year and the year after are set up where we should be competing for titles.
Got it. Just wait until next year. And you've already covered next years waiting until next year. Bold strategy.

Gundy actually lost a game 23-41 to...TROY in his 3rd season! He should have been fired on the spot for that disaster.

Miles was bad at roster management but go look at our recruiting class right now. It will be lucky to finish in the Top 10. O better win some games .

You have know clue what you're talking about. What has our record been with our 5 star running backs? If we strengthen our Oline, we'll have plenty enough talent at RB to be effective and win games.

One big problem I see is that Ed Orgeron is our Head Coach.
Another big problem that I see is that Joe Alleva is our AD.

The major differenrce that seems to always be forgotten when these posts pop us is that CEO was hired to maintain what we had, and bump us over the hill into the playoffs. That means 10+, winning the SEC, and upgrading the offense in the process. LSU looked "competitive" against a (basically) second string FL team, and could have easily gone to OT if not for a missed extra point.
If we had a first year coach that was hired to change the culture, and needed time to get his guys in place and recruit players to fit his system, people wouldn't be screaming that the sky is falling, but we don't have that do we? We have a system that is run first (same as Miles) with a coach who was freaking hired to keep Miles' train moving in the same direction (same). So we shouldn't have to tolerate the "he needs time" or the "he needs his talent in there", no B.S.. If O wanted time then he should have said so before he took the job, not sell himself to keep the ship on course.

You don't think Lincoln Riley was hired to maintain Oklahoma? They just won a title.
Posted on 10/9/17 at 8:48 am to Dudebro2
LSU does not have depth issues, . . . we have the 6th ranked talent class in the country; If we finish in top 10, and another 6th ranked class, then maybe this 3 headed coaching monster can mesh into a coherent successful machine (until one leaves) ; IF WE DON'T , we will have REAL DEPTH PROBLEMS beggining with the 2018 class and massive TRANSFERS at the end of this season
Posted on 10/9/17 at 9:11 am to PaperTiger
Oklahoma hasn’t won a NC since 2000. They got upset by Iowa St but they will more than likely go 11-1 or 10-2 so quit comparing Riley to O
