Let’s fire a 10-2 coach. See who is interested in the job after that.

In all fairness to the OP...at the end of the day, wouldn't we simply be in the same situation Les had us in?

That would be pretty stupid to want someone fired after going 10-2.

How would we all be disappointed if we went 10-2, shite just three weeks ago 95% of the fans was expecting 6-6, 7-5 at best ,very few said 8-4 or 9-3! Now all of a sudden most of us will be disappointed with them going 10-2 with Bama and Georgia being our only two losses. I love Tiger droppings, but it makes it hard to come on here and enjoy Interacting with other fans because most fans are so wishy-washy it’s really hard to be rational With a lot of them

Les had gone 3 straight seasons without 10 wins in regular season. In addition, we have not been to a NYD6 caliber bowl since the NC game. This would be the best on-paper season since 2011 if we go 10-2 and win a big time bowl game

False

We fired him 4 games into his 3rd season after his last 10 win season

Also we went 9-3 in 2015, canceled McNeese. Come On.

Because we are undefeated currently and have the best win of the season thus far? I absolutely thought this would be an 8-4 or 9-3 season but hoped for more. I don't know about you, but I don't want 10-2, 8-4 or anything other than championships. That generally means 0 or at most 1 loss. I don't expect one every year, but it's been a loooooong time since we were even won the west and we have yet to even make the CFP.

10-2 would be a good season so we'd likely get a nice bowl game against a big name opponent, and I would enjoy all of that. But, personally, I want more. And all of that is in front of us for the taking if we handle business.

I was not in favor of the hire but if we go 10-2 and the losses are to 2 of the top 3 teams in the nation he comes back. Not even close to being a question. Unless the season collapses spectacularly he is off of the hot seat.

1. We wouldn’t fire him

Buuuuuuut

2. You don’t think there aren’t coaches out there thinking “if he can win 10 games at LSU, I could win 15”

I, for one, do not understand these juvenile threads. If LSU is to be relevant they have to win those kinds of games. Just how it is here. Why would the ptb hire 0 if he were to do no better than CLM did. Just saying...

There's still "fans" who want O fired right now.

Just wait until the Game-thread on Saturday.

Depends....are those the only two losses?

Were they close?

Did we shite the bed and give it away (see Bama 12/14)?

Conservative to a fault?

More specific please.

This. Folks dont realize that the how is just as important as the what, especially when it comes to losses

No wonder Louisiana is consistently at or near the bottom in education. Orgeron has fixed three prevailing problems from last year: QB, PK, ST and yet The dummies continue to look for ways. As posted above, who would come here after you fire a coach with two losses after a whopping two years in the job?

Public.

Not private.

Sorry we can afford it.
