If Ole Miss loses to State, how many people here say they don’t want him?

I can see it now. State is a lot better than their record, by the way. And it’s a rivalry game.

I hope State wins.

Would have no bearing as far as i'm concerned. I might question how bought in are his players hearing that he is leaving. That could also be an issue.

Hopefully Ole Miss comes out flat because then it means 100% Kiffin is leaving and they know it.

I'd attribute it to distractions.

Ha, I'm hoping they lose to State so we don't have to worry about him wanting to stay for the playoffs

Some definitely would use that as evidence he sucks.

But wouldn’t affect me.

That is the key point...that IF he were to sign to come to LSU it would hurt recruiting both on NSD AND portal signings if he were to advance in the playoffs and still be coaching Ole Miss. Simply not on the job for LSU.

To answer the OP's ?, it wouldn't hurt at all because as others have said, "oh, the team was just distracted".

I think if State wins it makes it MORE likely Kiffin comes to LSU

I don’t know, but I want Lane as coach and would prefer they lose. Would make things easier.

I don't need to wait for them to lose to State. I don't want him now.

Ole Miss is better than them on both sides of the ball. They’ll score 30+ maybe 40. They ain’t losing.

Ole Miss lost to 3 teams that they were better than last year. They struggled with Washington State and Kentucky this year. They can absolutely lose this game.

I don't want Kiffin because he'll let Blake Baker go and install his brother as DC.

This is a rivalry game and Miss St has shown they can hang with good teams .

First Ole Miss punt and there will be a thread titled “This is who y’all want?”
