Scott allowed O to hire 2 co-ordinators who have never called a game and fire 2 who have called hundreds.
Off and Def are worse than last year. We were scoring in the 30s and 40s last year.

There is absolutely nobody on that staff worth keeping under the next coach, much less making the interim coach, but if this thing goes like I think it will they might promote Faulk or Raymond to interim to boost his stature for his next job AND to check the diversity-hire box so Woodward is free to hire the best coach out there.
Which is ridiculous, and pure politics, but that's the way LSU works right now.
Plus, if this is going to go like I expect, they're going to drop some off-the-field bombshell giving LSU leverage on a fire-for-cause thing, and that will mean O goes midseason because if it's not about football it has to be done immediately.

Orgeron did deserve a raise after 2019. But he didn't deserve a six year contract. Four was fine. That's on Woodward.

Why would you want to show other potential coaxhes that we don’t reward championships? Why would anyone want to coach here if a natty doesn’t get you a pay raise

I don't see it. Ed O finishes year in disgrace. Past hires show Woodward knows how to hire a coach. Doesn't seem like he would be the type to make things messy by having to deal with a interim head coach who was winning and the players "rallied" around.

BUT LOOK AT THE TERMS. You really don’t understand how O won’t get a whole lot of much. Look at something that happened at the end of last season ie skipped a bowl game….

This is a very good point. This is basically what happens and it can be very messy. Multiple examples of this occurring.

Woodward allowed Ed to bring in his choices after admitting the year before he didn’t interview Pelini on Lineahan. Woodward has to let him hang himself. Now when this year implodes, these are all Ed’s guys
