The President of the University does not hire the football coach. Sure LSU might interview someone to appease Tate, but at the end of the day it will be Woodward who makes the choice to fire O and who makes the choice to hire his replacement.

I don’t believe the AD has the power to give that kind of money out. There were many other people involved with that new contract. So far Woodward has seemed to have made some quality coaching hires and I can bet he will make a good hire here when it time.

Y’all all said the exact same things after Miss State and Troy in 2017 then we beat Florida, Auburn and A&M while also having a decent showing against Bama compared to what was being said and discussed here. Y’all act like things can’t be fixed or get any better or this season can’t be turned around? Time and time again we have except for last year. We can still post a 10-2 season. I let’s see a little more football before giving up on the team. God I hate our fans!

I’m sure because the head coach of football is the face of LSU there is writing in the contract that if he continues to post these stupid pics and embarrass the university by getting into fights with opposing fans as well as getting his arse whipped by teams he clearly should beat that he can be fired and not be paid the full amount. The money will began to dwindle down if the team don’t get their shite together and since they isolated a big portion with the new vaccine rule and the wokeness that has pissed off a lot of their fan base that money will start to dropping off at a rapid pace.
