You can have all the talent but can he instill the winning championships is a prerequisite at LSU mindset in the players.
Yet to be seen but hopeful this year because the elephant in the room is if he fails this year it isn’t gonna happen for him in BR.

Bare minimum is 9-3 regular season and in the playoff talk on selection day with a good bowl game if we don't get in.
His seat would be ready to combust into flames but he would still have support.
Minimum to quiet the noise is playoffs with a home field advantage game which will require at least 10-2 regular season.

Agree on both points. If it doesn't work out with Sloan, then it amplifies the point. You need the entirety of the coaching staff to be clicking. Have to break the cycle of having to replace someone who didn't work out vs. someone who left for a better job.

He ran off the coaches that he just hired back and wasted millions while crippling our defense for years. Cannot begin to spell Special teams. Maybe he does better bribing players with $$ to fill HIS roster that was FULL of holes after years.

Hate to admit it, but this is accurate. Had a 3-4 year run with Les where we were consistently top 5-10. Otherwise, we hang around middle of the pack besides a year here and a year there.

It's kind of a weird irony that the one part of his job he's still yet to prove is the coaching part.
The truth of the matter is he's typically been outmanned in big spots.
At ND they didn't play anyone but when he won his way to a big game he was outmanned not necessarily out coached. Roster
Early in his career at Grand Valley he won their championship more than likely playing similar competition. Dude won 32 straight at one point. Coaching
CBK hasn't had a complete SEC roster ready to compete in the SEC while at LSU until now.... on paper. Losses at LSU ---> Roster more so than coaching.
However, while at LSU he Beat BAMA went to SECCG w/out a complete SEC roster. Coaching
Sure, being desperate to compete will have you go for it on 4th down. <-- Have I been pissed? Hell, yes but in hindsight he has to get a pass based on Roster. Hopefully that has changed moving forward.
