If we could have the big10 we should go for it. It would take some work though due to our academics. However, if there goal is a super conference then it’s getting Clemson, FSU and Da U to come with us

I don't want out, but I get why some feel this way. I'd rather wait to see Sankey gone.
It really is ridiculous what they have done towards only LSU. I actually don't blame y'all. It's wrong they put LSU through this over something so trivial while other SEC schools like Tennessee have had all sorts of scandals recently.

Miami + LSU to the big ten and it would be an immediate upgrade . Rename it Alpha Conference

Amazon Prime baby. All LSU. All day. Every day. LSU and Notre Dame alternate playing each other on their respective networks.
LSU plays members of all power conferences except the SEC.

We'll agree to stay "for the kids" for now. Meanwhile, we're funneling cash into secret bank accounts and getting our affairs in order as we plan an exit strategy.

The SEC has taken advantage of LSU at every turn.
Everything from scheduling, title game location, tournament locations, etc., has been at the expense of LSU and other schools not located in the State of Alabama.
The conference screwed aTm with the addition of Texas, and it will continue to operate for the benefit of those it wants to while continuing to crap on those it deems fit.
Do I want us to go to the BIG 10? Hell, no. But staying in the SEC and having to walk on eggshells because of Sankey is no way to live.

I do as well. There's nothing for us here. I don't want to be part of a conference that is going to hold a gun to our head while not doing it to other member institutions.
LSU's brand is bigger than being Tier 2 in a conference.

While things have cooled down, I do hope LSU explores every avenue to one day give the SEC the finger and leave.

Yep, with one caveat.
We should begin a long-term process to make a strategic exit to a better situation. I don't want to just rush out into a bad situation under duress.
There is no way we can stay in the SEC long term now. Too much bad blood, especially if Sankey stays around. They will bide their time and exact their revenge for all this humiliation eventually.

I’m with you. I will never respect this conference or any other member institution after this. Fick them all. We should look for better options. F these people. They treat us like shite.

Why do you think the B1G would be better?
Their president/conference was the first one to condemn what LSU was doing.
They look down on the South and anything to do with the South.
Yes, we have the sports (53 National Championships), but our academics might be at the bottom of the conference, and they strongly consider that.
