Depending on how the rest of the season goes, I still think we have a tiny shot at being the first 3 loss playoff team if we lose a close one on the road to Tennessee and beat Bama and Texas handily.

If Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Tennessee win out, our 3 losses could be to three top 10 (maybe top 5) teams by a total of a few touchdowns.

Let me help you out. Win out and you’re in. If not, you’re out

I want Sankey to have to hand Lane the last conference championship trophy so I appreciate you mapping a scenario out for that at least even if it’s not likely

You will not be eliminated or left out of playoffs if you win out and lose the SEC champ game. A 3 loss SEC runner up (3rd loss being SEC champ game) gets in ahead of a 2 loss that didn't play in SEC champ game. Basic elementary watson

No way a 10-2 LSU with wins over Bammer, Texas, UThug & and an improved AU, both on the road, doesn’t get in.

The question comes in at 9-3.

Just win out. I dont see how we get through this schedule with fewer than 3 losses, but win out and you're in.

THIS ^^^^ TV wants Lane for ratings….. just for all the people who HATE him to tune in to possibly see LSU lose. He may be hated, but he’s a media wet dream.

The SEC even with the cluster at the top is probably still going to get 4 teams in. It's not absolute, but still probable right now. LSU just doesn't want to be in the cluster of 3 loss teams looking for a playoff spot. The odds are against LSU there.

LSU has to prove it can beat a team with a pulse.

Wins out in the regular season. They could got to the SECCG and lose and still make the playoff.

SEC is destroying itself and many other teams have Charmin soft conference schedules

Did anybody think BYU/Utah/Tech would ALL be threats? No we were figuring only one of those would get in. Plus add UCLA/USC? No way. But they are now legitimate threats for at-larges where the SEC champ will now very likely have 2 losses.

Margin is smaller than we thought at beginning of the season with SEC cannibalization and go figure, LSU's schedule is waaaay harder than we thought it would be.

Win out and we are in. No scenarios needed.

Decent chance we get in at 9-3 too if some chips fall right.

If LSU wins out, it doesn't matter what anyone else does. A 10-2 LSU with wins over Texas, Bama, and UT isn't getting left out.
