I agree with everything you said about Burrow, up until this
quote:

At this point it isn’t “if” Joe will win a Super Bowl it’s”when” and “how many”.
I'm old enough to remember Dan Marino in college at Pitt, and when he took the NFL by storm his rookie season. He threw for 5000 yds, in an era where stars were throwing for maybe 3000 or so.

He made the Super Bowl that rookie year. Sure, Montana and the 49ers won that game, but just you wait- Marino would be back again and again...
except he didn't go back. Ever.

You just don't know what will happen, and that's why I want him to win it all this year. Get it done. I don't think he's going to have a run like Brady, you want to see him get the W when he gets the chance.

As a lifelong saints fan, it’s nice to watch the Bengals and have a team to cheer for that is young and talented.

Sorry Scoob , they just aren’t the same type of people. Joe will get a SuperBowl. I’d bet on sooner than later but I get what your saying with Marino especially having gone to a SuperBowl that early in his career but then someone else came along and took all the Super Bowls in the NFC those years.
Joe has like 3 major goals right now and I’m pretty certain that winning a SuperBowl is Number 1.
The Dolphins were a good club before Marino with Shula who was one of the greats. Difference also is Joe is making all the players on both sides of the play better and making some average coaches look genius. Marino never did what Joe is doing basically as a young “Player Coach”.

He in went into Buffalo with a mission to prove to his team first that they can beat anyone, and at the same time show the nay sayers that he should be in the discussion of being the best QB in the League.

That’s nonsense that you made up. He went into that game to win, advance in the playoffs, and keep alive his chances to win the Super Bowl. Everything else is lagniappe.

Not to get ahead of ourselves here but let’s be honest. His situation is a lot similar to Brady in New England.

Brady made the entire roster look elite when they were average. Same for Burrow. You take Joe off of this team, they don’t even make the playoffs. Just like Brady at the Pats. Especially towards the end of his time there.

When he took that dirty hit against UCF, stayed down and then went on to light them up I knew the kid was different. Did not phase him one bit.

Hes special. He processes what the defense is trying to do so quickly. Really fun to watch.

The NFL is a league with a story line. The character who represents the Buffalo QB is paid to stick with the narrative.

I just hope he isn’t this generations Dan Marino. Coming close but no cigar.

I think Joe has a leg up on Marino because he has a decent defense. Poor Marino NEVER had even close to a decent defense.

The AFC is a lot of fun right now with KC, Cincy, and Buffalo. Those 3 teams will likely be competing for the Superbowl for the forseeable future.

BTW Burrow is 4-0 against those other 2 teams and looked like they were on their way to winning the canceled game as well.

He's graduated to the point where the only thing left is to win a Super Bowl. He's as elite as you can get other than that.

It happened quickly. Chase helped him tremendously.

Burrow is the new “that dude.”

He could be the next 6-7 ring dude by the time he leaves football.

possibly, but alas, don't see that happening unless he gets out of Cincy while he's still young and healthy
