I was so impressed watching his play yesterday I knew Joe was on the right path to Elite status, but he really is there already. I quite honestly thought Buffalo was the best team in the League especially if in Buffalo and with Allen who I thought was the best. I’ve since changed my opinion and think many others have as well this morning. It almost as if was watching a young more athletic and fiery Peyton Manning yesterday changing plays at the line as he needed.
He in went into Buffalo with a mission to prove to his team first that they can beat anyone, and at the same time show the nay sayers that he should be in the discussion of being the best QB in the League.
That’s how big that game was IMO. I honestly didn’t doubt Joe but thought the OLine would cause their run game to suffer and eventually Joes passing game.
Joes knowledge of the game in year three is more than some of great QBs absorb about the QB position in 10 full seasons.

At this point it isn’t “if” Joe will win a Super Bowl it’s”when” and “how many”.
God he is fun to watch. Miss that guy in P and G and just glad to say I got a chance to witness in person the greatest college QB season of all time in Austin.

Bengals Fan by Default here until our Saints are back in it.

He’s going to make life miserable for many DC for years to come.

If he beats Maholmes for a 4th straight and second AFC title in his backyard this will just confirm the New Sheriff resides in Ohio.
Tall task but who can’t doubt him now?

Getting to the Superbowl in your first full season was pretty damn elite.

Bengals need to plan know on how to pay him and Jamarr for the long long haul.

I just hope he isn’t this generations Dan Marino. Coming close but no cigar.

His patched together O-line was pushing back the Buffalo D. You give Burrow anything close to that kind of support and he will eat you up.

Going to get real tough when they have a top 3 guy at QB and a top 3-5 guy at WR

Mixon isn't a slouch either, thankfully RBs don't take top billing that they used to

Man I hope they figure out a way to keep Burrow and Chase together

Yeah, winning in the playoffs/sudden death has defined the legacies of many great QBs. Joe took another major step up yesterday.

By the same token, this is consecutive playoffs where Josh Allen ultimately couldn't advance his team. His legacy took a downward turn into that potential was-great-but-will-never-be-GOAT Jim Kelly hemisphere.

Yesterday, he demonstrated the same "it" that he had at LSU. You just could tell and knew with certainty that not only did he not shrink from the snow and the Bills...he welcomed it. Whether or not he makes every play or not, I'm truly convinced that it's not possible to rattle him. That goes a long way - and can't be taught.

Bengals are going to be fine on offense for years to come.

The big question is, can they keep their dominant defense intact for the next 3-4 seasons?

Joe is ranked pretty high on shortest time to throw and sacked categories. Given him an average OL support he can dismantle most defense piece by piece. He should have won the super bowl last year if the Bengals OL was not eaten alive by the Rams DL.

Those guys are dominant because they believe in Joe and what he is doing for the team.
Yes the D is fine/good but let’s say Dalton was QB prolly not so much.

Joe is the epitome of a Franchise QB

So by your logic, the 2001 Ravens defense was dominant due to Trent Dilfer or the 85 Bears defense because of Jim McMahon?

Joe is without question an exemplary leader but he isn’t on the field playing defense.

Winning the Super Bowl in 20 days unless a DL can put non-stop pressure in him. Otherwise, book it for the ring if his OL gives him any time in the pocket

The answer, unfortunately is probably not.

Joe is going to get a new contract this summer. He’ll be one of, if not, the highest paid QB in the league. That comes with a major hit to the salary cap. A lot of good Bengals players aren’t going to be able to get the contacts from Cincy like they will elsewhere. They will lose several to free agency.

When Chase and Higgins get their new contracts, it’s going to take an even bigger hit on the cap. Unfortunately, some really good players won’t be able to get paid from Cincy like other teams will be able to.

Their GM has a lot of work in front of him managing the roster over the next few years.

It was a pleasure. Cool aside - I got to see 3 of the 4 QBs playing in the conf championships in person.

Joey B at LSU, Hurts and Purdy both when ISU played Oklahoma.

How dumb are you to make a post like this.

The Bengals time of possession was 7 minutes and 48 seconds more than the Bills. That is 18 seconds more than 1/2 a quarter

You would to be an idiot to think this doesn't help the defense

Dilfer won the Super Bowl because of the defense
