Adjectives don’t end in “ly”. You could say he was “thoroughly shitty”. That would make it an adverb modifying the adjective “shitty”. Or you could say, “thorough piece of shite.” That would make it an adjective modifying the noun “piece”.

While we’re correcting grammar, it’s NEVER ok to put a period outside of the quotation marks. Never.

Again, I assume there is a reason they don't cover the field. But from a logical standpoint wouldn't make more sense to take efforts to prevent the field from getting wet vs. making sure it dries quickly AFTER getting wet? Something that though it may happen quickly, wouldn't happen instantaneously even with the best subsurface drainage
