How many?
Any number above 0 is an indicator of societal deprivation.
You should start your count there, if you are able to count that high.
Good luck

What is sad is how many people actually value his opinion

Because we spend way too much time trying to emulate someone else’s model/system.
The “keeper sweeper” era of goal keeping has devalued keepers #1 responsibility, stop goals. We have the athletes, we have poor direction.

re: Would it be better if more colleges started

Yes and no.
More mens college programs would, on the surface, provide more opportunities and development.
The biggest problem is universities are giving their limited scholarships to international players. Unless they do something like cap the number of international scholarships per team, I don’t think it will make a big difference.

Ironically it is also a common trait in the media.

 How many times have you been put in timeout?
It sounds like an issue between their employer and USSF
It sounds like a service to sales position. It is a model that a lot of insurance agency used, for example.
Those transition to sales propositions are always oversold as easy achievable, high growth potential. The “work hard for 6 months” line can easily expand to a year or more and you ride it out because you are already invested a lot of time and sacrifice.
I’ve seen many good hardworking people burnout. Corporate absorbs their book of business and moves on to the next “up and comer.”

If everyone posts American flags, will you get scared and go away?

Was the reaction the same for the other players that received the same remediation to a red card, like Ronaldo?
They are outraged for no other reason than it was a positive outcome for America. There is no rationalization with people like that. We see it domestically too.

Some, maybe. But your average sports fan isn’t going to be interested in soccer to a great extent until the competition here in the US is up to par. Is that ever going to happen? Who knows?
That and America has not had their Micheal Jordan of soccer.
If we had a player that is in the conversation for best in the world, we would see an influx of players and supporters.
