Yeah, but I didn’t see anyone else look SCARED and in over his head...

I haven’t seen that facial expression since Jarrett Lee threw back-to-back picks @ Bama in 2011.
Sure doesn’t inspire confidence in anyone...

He should say:

I have no comment.

At this level of competition, is it ever necessary, or more importantly, beneficial in a loss like this with so many mistakes and such poor play for the “leader” of a football team to say, “We tried or hardest”? Is that a thing winners say? That is something Vandy’s coach says about his team when they play GREAT and just fall short of beating LSU. That is when that is appropriate. It’s total wienerville when an LSU team favored by 17 points plays like that and loses to a program we have downed for decades. He shouldn’t have said it. It is very telling.

Brennan is not a leader. Last year I sat every game behind the Tiger bench. He was always All alone. Never consulted with Joe. Never had headsets on! All alone all the time. Even in the Marriott Marquis for both championship games in Atlanta. He was always all alone.

Him not executing on offense kept the defense on the field which certainly didn’t help them stay fresh

Time of possession was MSU 30:28 to LSU 29:32. That’s not an acceptable excuse for the defense.

Time of possession in last year’s LSU MSU game was MSU 34 to LSU 26.

It was more than Brennan and if you listen to the whole interview he did acknowledge responsibility.

He’s been constantly told how great he is since HS. It’s been known for a while that he was more worried about hunting and fishing than football the last three years.

Over the summer someone posted here saying Myles was more worried fishing and going antiquing with his girlfriend than he was football. Certainly looked that way today.

Amazing. And, that is why my takes are so amazing. Naturally, one’s athletic prowess is equal to his ability to give a good take. That’s how I know I can’t kick your a%% in any sport, because your takes are so terrible. I bet you pass like the people on the Dr. Pepper competition = chest pass. If you are a lady, I apologize. If not, I wish you were more athletic so you could have better takes.

Being defensive is indicative of disappointment with A lot of hype and pressure. A few answers to a PC n the moment doesn’t mean a ton to me. We will see if he packs it in on the field the next fee weeks. Maybe tbis loss loosens the team up some. Hard act to follow and that’s all anyone talked About. So maybe they refocus and work extra hard. Tney must stay together and move on. What’s done is done.

But how will he bring himself to post his epic juice pack and Hot Fries burn that his momma thought was funny if he reads the whole story?

He is not a winner. No wonder he has lost the job for 4 years. Good kid, just not a winner.

The reporter asked if he was pressing or trying to do too much. People are taking that quote out of context.

They're not.

Because he didn't answer the reporters question. He didn't take the blame. He didn't even know what went wrong.

He just "Gave it my all."

The reporter gave him an out for the problems on the offense, and he gave a milquetoast response designed to make people give him empathy.

Did you try to do too much? did you feel the pressure of the role you now have? Are you feeling stressed about trying to live up to a GOAT?

No answer to that. Just, "I gave it my all."

That's weak.

Sounds like he’s part of the participation trophy crowd. Worst fricking thing to happen in kid and youth sports. Breeds pussies.

Ah, of course. A Sooner fan. You are used to making excuses and having people feel sorry for you and being proud of yourself for trying hard.

I’m not going to go through all of this again. Here’s the short version. Basically, if you are an underdog, outmanned, etc., and you overachieve and play great and almost upset a better team but just fall short, then you can place focus on “doing your best” because you really did your best.

However, when you are LSU playing State and you are a 17 point favorite, and you play as poorly as we played, Myles included, you don’t say that, unless, as another guy aptly pointed out, you want sympathy. A leader does not say that in this situation. Regardless of what else he said, him saying that tells me and his teammates everything we need to know. It matters. It’s a mentality.

You are spewing paragraphs of meaningless psychobabble no one requested through all hours of the night to try to prove that some 22 year old football player lacks mental toughness. Sort yourself out.

Relax dude. I’m not trying to prove anything. It’s a sports take on an anonymous forum. I don’t know a single person here. This is my first post. I’m a passenger on a 1,500 mile, 24 non-stop drive; not a lot else to do.

Unless my next drive happens to be immediately following another game, I’m likely a one hit wonder here. Though, I do enjoy reading the posts after games.

Unfortunately, I do think our QB lacks poise and intestinal fortitude for the moment. He consistently shows us that, in my opinion.

Big Tiger fan. First missed season opener since 1995 today. I’d like to think if we knew these kids read our posts, many of us wouldn’t post some of the things we post. But, the kids don’t read it (or they shouldn’t), so it’s just a bunch of has beens or never was guys ranting. I mean, the name of the thing is literally Tiger Droppings, and Rants, etc.

I think he is a bit weak minded and doesn’t possess that killer instinct or alpha male personality, or whatever. And, I think comments like this from him just reinforce the opinions that many Tiger fans have developed about the kid over the past four years.

I’d love to be wrong. I hope I am. I don’t think I am.
