He's not the guy, simple as that.

Sad for him. Sadder for Tigers. Has really had enough playing time last couple of seasons to see that he is not and never has been “the” guy. He does not have a winner determination or mindset.

We have lived more seasons with this sort of attitude than we have have with "we need to get better & we are going to."

Look at Stevens comments - we need winning attitude!!

Post game presser looked like a hostage video.

personally it was evident Myles didn't quit.

Except for not trying to win at the end. Clock management on our last possession and urgency displayed by the QB were straight up quitter mentality.

He looks like a little kid trying to assume the role that a man had.

I like the kid and think he has some talent. I also think he’ll get better and I’m willing to give him a pass on an awkward interview due to lack of experience. He should become more polished in that respect but I’m not seeing the “it” factor. No swagger, gunslinger mentality or take charge guy. These aren’t things easily developed. They would be more ingrained and natural.

It’s hard to replace a legend. Fans are spoiled with having a generational talent and expectations naturally rise. I think Brennan will be serviceable and likely have some really good games. He might blossom but let’s not be too harsh on him after one start of being “the man” of the hour. Damn rough crowd here.

Brennan is not a leader. Last year I sat every game behind the Tiger bench. He was always All alone. Never consulted with Joe. Never had headsets on! All alone all the time. Even in the Marriott Marquis for both championship games in Atlanta. He was always all alone.

Someone called in to the coaches show last year and asked about him not being involved on the sidelines. O said he would look into it. There’s only so much coaches can do. You have to want to be that guy.

Damn not good. His post game presser came across like he was totally lost true frosh who just played his first game. Next week will be very telling.

You are stupid. This thread is stupid.

He said that in response to a direct question “were you pressing? (Trying to be joe burrow, basically).

He said. I gave it my all, BUT... lot to improve upon and get better. I’m paraphrasing of course.

I’m not surprised some of y’all are this dumb and think this kid sucks because he’s not joe burrow but yet it is surprising how much you reach to be this stupid.

No leadership in those words. Step up Brennan.

The reality is we scored enough points to win. The defense failed miserably.

If he gave his all, LSU is in trouble. His stats weren't bad. It was everything in between that was questionable.

I sure hope he and our DBs have more all laying around somewhere. Otherwise, we have about 5 toss-ups and 4 more definite losses on the schedule.

SEVEN sacks & at least 5+ more hurries. He missed a few, obviously, but the OL was horrible. Not specifically looking but I saw at least 5 complete whiffs. If we're having this same conversation after the Mizzo game, I'll be worried. Rite now I am just aggravated like everyone else. As a big positive, I thought our DL / LB's played great, with pressure all game long.

He’s terrible!! Maybe if he and the LSU team were worried about practicing and playing football instead of being social justice warriors we might would have won against a mediocre team!!
