His comments in the postgame presser tell you everything you need to know. “I gave it my all, just like everyone else.” What is this, Pop Warner? Did he get a juice pack and some Hot Fries after the game from a teammates’ mother?

What about taking some leadership and saying, “We didn’t get it done today. We’ve got to do better, and it starts with me. We left a lot points on the board today. I missed some throws. Got to get better. Going to look at the game film and get back to work. Today’s performance was unacceptable all the way around. It wasn’t my offensive line. It wasn’t my receivers. It starts with me.”

He is not the leader we need, but he he tried his hardest. Get him a juice pack and some Hot Fries.

I don't want to be too critical, but I did find those comments a little concerning.

I understand what he's trying to say, but it wasn't a good look.

If you listen to the whole interview he says all of what you're critizing him for not saying. Stop being a headline reader

I agree. I’m not going to dump on him but he could’ve done better.

Him not executing on offense kept the defense on the field which certainly didn’t help them stay fresh

he probably truly believes that we only lost because the defense was awful, which is very concerning in terms of not only his mind set but also the coaches' message to him during/after the game

i hope i'm wrong, but i just don't think he's ever going to be a great QB, especially in the SEC

If this is true, then this season is a wash.

Yeah, I think in isolation they are pretty generic and not terrible comments. But, given everything we know, they concern me. It almost seems self-defensive. And, that’s the point. He comes across and timid and scared. That he feels the need to defend his effort instead of taking ownership and lighting a fire speaks to the problems with his play.

Man who gives a frick what they say to the media. It matters what happens on the field, and personally it was evident Myles didn't quit.

He’s been constantly told how great he is since HS. It’s been known for a while that he was more worried about hunting and fishing than football the last three years.

He probably needs to call Joe and see what he needs to do better as a leader because he didn’t learn much last year

The reporter asked if he was pressing or trying to do too much. People are taking that quote out of context.
