3It’s honestly pretty astonishing. It’s like bama’s qb situation. Maybe coaching could be better but these guys look like CUSA/Sun Belt level talent. At least im enjoying seeing Harris play physical and though he didn’t have a great game Burns did make that touchdown saving stop. Just can’t fathom going from what we’ve had over the years to this. We used to crank out corners like a fricking factory. As a former white boy corner i take it personal. DBU is ded.

on 9/24/23 at 9:48 am to SI am old enough to remember when we had PP, the Honey Badger and Mo Claiborne back there at the same time. Say what you will about Miles, but his staff could flat out find, evaluate and recruit talent.

on 9/24/23 at 9:48 am to SThen you have not been paying attention. We had two years of transfer portal players because Ed O screwed thr program. Your current coach has had one recruiting year. Everyone wanted to play thr young talent, well we are and this is the result. It's fixable and they will get better.

In the secondary? No they’re not, it’s transfers who are… let’s just say not SEC level to be kind.
Kelly did come into a shite show thanks to Ed, and it will obviously take time to fix. The recruiting this year however isn’t up to standards at this time, hopefully that changes.

Harris has been disappointing considering how good he was at A&M last year. (When he he played)
Zy flashes but gets lost.
Chestnut is just too small and slow. Same for Sage.
None of the safeties show much of anything. Brooks was at least physical.
We really miss JBC from last year.

These are honestly the hires that turn position rooms around.
NFL GOAT and LA native comes home to revamp DBU would immediatly start getting top recruits interested.
