Currently there is only one number that is retired and cannot be used and that’s 20, if the right recruit wants 9 he’ll get it
The is no mention of a payment being made! It only says breach of contract! Unless I missed something
Don’t have to be an expert to understand that Rev Sharing contract was for this upcoming season so the players have not received any compensation in regards to that contract! Also caused no damages to the upcoming revenue stream for Ole Miss. But like I said if I was one of the Top players for any team I would wait until the season is over the look at my options. Also if I was a coach in a recruiting battle with Ole Miss I would have a copy of this law hanging on my wall and use it

Did they receive any compensation? If they did not then they wouldn’t owe the school any compensation! Note to top players don’t sign any contracts while the season is still going on wait until it ends then you have the leverage.

While you might be right you would then have to then state the argument for Iowa or Michigan being the best 2 seed which I don’t see
I think UCLA was the lowest 1 seed so you would think that they considered LSU the highest 2 seed? But because of Texas a SC may have shuffled a bit

I don’t know if there is or not my only opinion is that if you have 105 scholarships then give a 105 scholarships and not have a kid walk on I mean it can only help! Both of my kids graduated from Shadow Creek so I will see if my son knows anything about this kid

That’s not an attack on you! If we have a 105 scholarships, we can only have a 105 players on roster and scholarships are year to year why would we ask a kid to walk on, it’s not like we can save the scholarships for the next year

In this new landscape of college football fans should understand that it is more important to support the team and not the individual players! Each year will be rebuilds and our favorite players may become our arch rivals
